A place for newbies to fight that ISN'T crowded?

Hey all!

So, I'm trying to train a bot in combat, but all the chicken farms are crammed, all the cows are too spread out and the lumbridge goblins just lead me into odd places.

Do you guys know of any good F2P places to train newbies that aren't unsuitable for bots (and that you're willing to share since you're so nice? :garfield: )

Thanks guys,
-Suph :)

It's a funny joke, 'cause that's where everyone goes :P

Stronghold level 1. Fight goblins, not that crowded, and you could use my Fighter if you would like :).

I second the Stronghold of Security.

What about that jail place that's near Edgeville? Like directly south of the fence there's an underground place you can enter and there's NPC's down there, anyone know if that's crowded in F2P?

OH yeah, the small cockroaches. They give pretty good exp and drops.

I've always liked the Minotaurs on Lv1 of the Stronghold. The Stronghold is a really good place for any CB training in F2P.

The Cockroach soldiers there used to have a script just for them. Dunno what happened to them. The scripts probably outdated by now.

The entrance to the edgeville dungeon wouldn't be too bad. There are rats and skeletons there and I believe it's mainly just trafficked by people running to resource dungeon.
I will also probably regret saying this, but Varrock sewers near the skeletons and scorpions is typically empty most of the time. I've done some training there with great success.

Hmmm that reminds me. Isn't there a dungeon in Lumbridge Graveyard….

~BraK

It would be fairly easy for a Deathwalk.

You must be referring to the Lumbridge Catacombs. However, I think you need to finish Blood Pact in order to access that.

Thanks all, I've had a look at all of the places. SoS seems to be a good place but not for newbies llike my guy :)

Sticking to the Ratinator. Works great on the rats! Smarter, I've used yours too, and it works fabulously too!

Blood pact is a cake quest. So I don't really see it not bing a good spot for bots. That plus it has mobs level 2-30. Thinking about it now I'm actually amazed it hasn't been done.

Hey, never realized there was a new F2P quest. Haven't played since the stopping of free trade.

I'll take a look at the quest. Maybe it can be my first script, but don't count on it :D

Edit: Took a look at the quest. Though simple, it'll still be too hard for me as a newbie (for now).

DON'T DO THE QUEST UNLESS YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT A PURE, IT TRAINS DEFENSE TO 2 O.O. Luckily I didn't do it.

Blood Pact gives 100 XP in all combat stats, so don't do it unless you want defense XP.

I tend to like having 5 def pures, so I send mine down there. Sometimes steel makes all the difference.

Tons of crappy bots at it, non-multicombat.

Once you get to lvl 60+, using the Zombie killer from Iamadam.

Oh, I "found" something cool in the Lumby catacombs.

The end monster, if you grab his statue (or the plate where his statue used to be) highlighted in red, he will attack you. If a monster already exists in the room he will attack you, else one gets spawned for you and attacks you. Doesn't seem to stop either, every time you touch it after killing one, it spawns another. He also appears to be "dedicated" to you, so others can't kill him unless you don't retaliate within a few seconds.

Hey good find, do I have to finish Blood Pact though, because I plan on making an account for fun just to see how long it can go botting non-stop before getting banned.

Harry

2011-07-10 15:45:25

Yes, to get down there you have to finish the mini-quest. Only takes 5 minutes at most.

That in itself would be a great script ;)

easy deathwalk and your own monster
