I think CountColor always returns 0.

It works for me though…

Countcolor found: 13700 colors

Make sure you ActivateClient, and have a client selected.
I was using smart and it was returning 0 :(
That's why you test it without smart before making a thread :)

What difference does that make Zyt3x?

Color finding has been weird for me in SMART recently as well. Often it will return nothing (breaks stuff like mad, such as Deposit() I have to loop it for 3+ seconds to make it so it will properly deposit slots 2-28…)

Don't know what the issue is, but it's on and off for me, so I rely on mostly reflection now.

Odd, I'm not having any issues. You guys using the most stable version of Simba, or the unstable branch?

How does the client image look when CountColor doesn't work? Could you debug it?
What difference does that make Zyt3x?
I mean test it out on something other than runescape I.E MS Paint or something, that way it's easy to debug the script / SIMBA to see where there is an error :)
It's always good practice to test functions you think might be dysfunctional on something other than runescape. Not only takes it less time for you to debug it but it also makes you feel good about yourself if you find out where/if there is an error ;)

I'm using the most recent stable version of SRL+SMART, latest Java etc. It's weird.

It works for me all the time, perhaps you needed to use countcolortolerance?

Nope. I installed simba/srl like a week or two ago cause this is a new computer.

I just realized, harry what OS are you running?

Windows 7 x64.

I think it has to do with the image refreshing right when the color request is called, which might make it be grabbing a black screen? Dunno really.

I do not have Aero enabled. On a box I do, I get the same issue.

I have aero enabled on windows 7 64-bit and I experience no errors

Working fine here. Windows 7 64 bit; aero enabled. I believe you got that from a thread where a guy tried to navigate through windows with Simba/scar, if aero is enabled you can't search directly on to any windows component.

Why don't run some code that if countcolors equals 0 that it will save the client image. Then you can be sure that it is a black screen or a malfunction from countcolors…

Because it doesn't happen for a long enough time. When it fails, by the time the script could request a screenshot it'd probably be fixed.

I don't know why you would do that. But whatever you want.
