If other, what was it you lost?[INDENT] - [/INDENT]Explain your side of the story[INDENT] Naike offered to get a firecape for me. I gave him my stats and asked him what gear he wanted. He gave me what he wanted and you can point out the odd gear he requested like a robinhood hat? which for my stats completely unnecesary. He acknowledged my defence at one point too. Also requested strongly a fury or ranging necklace when I claimed unholy necklace was better for the prayer bonus, obviously because there worth more. I let him on the account with all the gear and inventory yet he demanded that I give him the bank pin for a ring of recoil(nobody ever uses ring of recoil?) and another range pot?(in game convo) Yet in the pm he really didnt care if i changed the invi a bit. I gave him the bankpin after he claimed he was trusted and had high ranks on srl. After I gave him the pin he had no further interest in talking to me when i asked him a few questions and got no response. I then looked up all his posts on his account and found that he has been in trouble before and that i made a huge mistake trusting this guy. I was logged on another account trying to talk to him and i saw him log off so i immediatly logged on it to find my whole bank stripped of everything worth any value. I got back on srl as fast as possible and posted that thread which im sorry for, i was in panic and wanted to link the last pm and the time of when i posted the thread because I forgot to get the ip. If you could log on my account and look at my pm history there is no way this guy shouldnt be punished. Im going to try to post the link to my inbox but im not sure if it will let you see it and i cant figure out how to get the whole page on a screenie. Its a fairly large page. I would not make this up, I have no reason too. Im just trying to save other people from having this guy pulling the same stunt. Srl has a great community this is the whole reason why I stick around but people like this are what bring them down and I dont want to see that happen here. Naike is already banned from market, not much we can do..

When is someone going to man up and ban these people. Permanently, then ban them when they come back under a different name.

I do not agree on the fault part. Seems pretty hard, why is he even allowed here if we didn't trust him.

My perspective on this is that we had strong proof against Naike before, but he always denied doing it and offered to pay back the money to clear his name.

He deserves a perm ban for this. Although I understand the value of having him use a "known" account rather than start a new one, I bet that most of the SRL community thinks we're just playing favorites with him because he was a Dev.

I think he should be perm banned as well, but like you said, there's nothing stopping him from making another account. If only there was a way to ban IP, including if it changes.

But yeah, the only thing we can really do is make it obvious that he scammed in the past and apparently still does. We just have to make it VERY clear that people that have to banned black market cup are not to be trusted.

If we're going to handle scammers this way I think we need to explain that to the community.

And if that's our new policy I also think that they need more than a cup, perhaps change their Title to Scammer or something as well.

Or we can stick with the old system and banhammer him once and for all.

I'd be all for banning if people couldn't simply create a new account, but I suppose they could do the same if their banned from the black market. It's kind of a lose-lose situation in a way.

I think bottom line, we don't want scammers, so keeping them around is contradictory to that. Ban him.
