Tablet PC vs. Netbook

Hey!

So, currently I own: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/notebooks/ideapad/s-series/s10-3

It is OK, it is running FC13 w/ LXDE as an environment. Its slow, and a bit painful to use at times. It does what I need it to though (homework, Maple, coding, etc.). Currently, since its only about 6 months old, I could probably get about $200 for it, which is not bad at all.

I am considering selling it and getting a Tablet. Think this is a good idea?

My research into tablets had me come across this: http://www.thesource.ca/estore/product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=Tablet-PC&product=2510909

It is by far the best tablet I have found for the price and the specifications, it also feels great in the hands. The price could very well be right as well (I will get it for $450 because of price matching :D).

Thoughts, opinions, information? I'm all ears.

Don't assume you'll sell the netbook if you're taking that in to consideration for spending the money. Make sure you have plenty, excluding the $200 if you were to sell. I'm sure you know laptops can be a bitch to sell (especially for the price you want).

Tablet. You can get a wireless mouse and keyboard with a stand, and its the same thing as a netbook(plus the touchscreen that gets all the ladies).

Buy a Laptop, Remove the bezel, Glue the LCD to the bottom half of the laptop - Tada! Super-charged tablet.

Its beautiful, no other word for it.

There is also acer iconia

It is my opinion that no tablet can replace a traditional laptop if you want to work.

The only use tablets have in my opinion is media consumption. The Transformer is one of the best tablets though, so if you buy that I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I figure as long as I can do my basic word processing, and simple spreadsheets and the like, I can easily replace my netbook. The performance of the tablet is *significantly* better than my netbook on usage *and* on hardware.
