Okay, on July 3rd, at noon Eastern time, the Dragon Dyce clan chat is hosting an open 5b drop party at the GE spirit tree, and to my understanding it's in w2.
Now, someone involved with OGL etc - is there an easy way to disable rendering of all characters, but not ground items?

Didn't bother to even try going to that party because of the obvious lag caused by +1k people standing next to varrock spirit tree and few thousand more spamming logins to get in.
If it was possible I'd so go do the Drop party house thing. :) Maybe even make a bot for it…

It's possible, and RSBuddy/EpicBot/PowerBot do it when you choose Use Less CPU… I just wanted to somehow keep the ground items rendered…
