Level Bug

I ran MSI twice with this same error.

So as you can see it failed to get my WC level and as a result i guess it choose and iron hatchet as the best tool. Then afterwards even though it failed to find a tool and setup the skill it tried to walk somewhere and was scanning for a point on the MM…

I'm guessing if it failed setup it should probably go to the next player and quit? unless of coarse you guys have set it up to check the bank or something.

In addition, what was odd was that this is the first time running this account in MSI with my current WC level. But, character stats had the correct level in their account sheet. Meaning there really wasn't an error obtaining the stat, but instead translating it or whatever, unless it checks for levels twice…

Edit: I have a rune hatchet in the first slot of my inventory.

Edit2: After this it tries to web-walk. And im just saying… it brought me for port sarim to wizard's tower and wanted to keep on going southeast… So web-walking isn't the best…. If you think about it theres nothing south east of wizzy tower.

Edit3: I actually believe it never even searched my inventory…

Edit4: SO I decided to run it to see if it worked at a Dryanor Village with withdrawing. I got the above error obviously, but when it tried to bank it detected a bronze hatchet as an iron ore and withdrew it and foolishly attempted to cut down trees.

Edit5: So I ran it again and guess what it detected to iron ore as the hatchet again. So DTM's have to be redone at least check uptext when withdrawing…

The level check: that's reflection. It didn't get the level properly. I think the hook wasn't yet updated. MSI only checks one of the hooks and if it's updated it assumes they all are as well because, well, why wouldn't they be? That would also explain why it would try to walk and the points weren't on the minimap.

Web walking, if that part worked, there's no reason why the regular walking wouldn't work, unless you have your characters location completely messed up. As for the DTMs, now I'm really thinking your settings are wrong because DTMs are working find for me, and apparently none are working for you. I've never had issues with withdrawing hatchets/pickaxes/whatever really. Actually earlier it detected a Raw tuna as a Raw trout, but they're actually similar.

If some hooks are outdated, it shouldn't even try to run. We should probably check the hooks for walking since that's all we really use.

I just tried getting my woodcutting level and it got it fine. So I doubt its reflection.

Its working now, but I mean before the hooks were updated. I was having the same issue after an RS update. Once my hooks updated it was fine. MSI's SetupReflection function may need updating, maybe you can check it out? It's in Setup.simba I think. I don't know enough about reflection. Its basically a copy of an older setupReflection that doesn't terminate the script if the hooks are outdated.

Okay: SO I feel a bit like a noob after posting this cause it was just the hooks. But whats wierd is that Harry script was working right after this…

Ill rerun it and see what I get…

I've been running MSI for the last few weeks and everything has been fine, so you shouldn't have issues with checking the level.

This time it got my level correctly. Now off to check my other character with DTMs…
