SRL Archive - News and General

It all started when I met someone on a RSPS called "Paradise", someone by the name of "now". He introduced me to the Villavu forums, and told me I could use SRL to bot RSPS's and even Runescape. I thought, hm… this could be something I could really get into, so… I started scripting in SCAR. after reading over numerous tutorials, numerous amounts of times, I finally made my first script, a power miner. I mined my way all the way up to 99 in this RSPS. I started learning newer, more powerful commands, and graduated myself to writing scripts for Runescape. I made an EP raiser, (back when EP existed) and a script to train range safe spotting skeletons in the Varrock sewers, and then a Runite Ore miner. (all of which are still on these forums.)

However, after the years went by, and JaGex returning wilderness, it seemed as if Runescape was not the same game anymore, you can go to any world, and find no one in the wilderness, unless you go to world 18 and just end up getting rushed all day. So, I left Runescape, and went back to Private servers.

I found a fun, great server, called Near Reality. Where I began to write scripts for it as well. I made four scripts for this server, for I was only there for a month or two. Now, I am leaving Near Reality, and Runescape and Villavu.

I guess I have just lost interest in Runescape and private servers.

Now, since I have no use for them, I will be dumping these four Near Realty scripts, for anyone that does play, to use.

Note: These scripts are all basic knowledge, and probably are not the best looking. I did not plan on letting anyone else view these, so they do not have standards or anything like that. However, they are flawless.

Before I go, I want to thank all of the people that helped me learn the basics to what I know now, of scripting with SCAR, Simba, and SRL. I want to specifically thank a list of people, who have over and over again took time out of their day to answer my questions in the help section.

To the rest of the people that helped me: Thank you all as well, I have learned a lot about programming languages, declaring variables and constants, and using them. I am going to be using this knowledge in the future when I start tackling PhP and JavaScript ;)
