Pros and cons, like everything, are relative. To the end user, it's hard to say whether it's better for it to be legal or illegal. Yes, many people are arrested because of it. But, it also brings substantial funding to the government to keep it illegal. All in all, it can be better to have it illegal for monetary reasons. Ethically, it's better (matter of opinion, really) to make it legal.
Overall, a lot of people get fucked over because of it, but it makes the nice comfortable life you have a possibility.
Also, you're like 14. You should focus on school and a resume before you smoke weed. But, it is the summer, so have fun. Just don't get caught. Will fuck up the rest of your life, depending on the state you're in.

16 by the way, and the only reason pot currently is legal is because of economic reasons imo, it would save the government about 10 billion dollars, and plus count in the money made from actually taxing it.
but this leads to other problems, pharmaceutical companies would lose tons of profits because it has so many useful cures, and by the way, if you havent seen the movie the union, i highly suggest you watch it, it is very informational

I've seen far more about weed than you have. The Union barely talks about the legality apart from The Union itself.
And, like I said, if it were legal, they'd make a lot less money. There's a LOT more to it than you think.

I think you should take into consideration on how biased that movie is. Like Michael Moore's "Capitalism, A Love Story". He mentions all the bad things about Capitalism and really points fingers at how corrupt it is and the movie can really make you think, BUT it also doesn't show any of the good parts of Capitalism/free trade. …If you don't know who he is, Michael Moore is an avid Socialist so of course anything you hear from him is biased, and I'm not saying Socialism is absolutely evil either.
Basically, you should really look into both sides of the story rather than getting all your information from one source.

I'm busy with school, but you can watch a plethora of documentaries on the webs, yo. Hulu has a good selection, but they're all biased toward weed. You have to know a lot about far more than just weed to understand why it's illegal.

To start on your main question. Cannabis is illegal because of paper. Now you may be wondering what the hell does paper have to do with anything. Well I'll tell you. When paper was being manufactured the company wanted to make as much profit as possible, Hemp was a low cost alternative to paper and this is how the propaganda/prohibition of Marihuana/Marijuana began.
Hemp and paper are much a like they are used in the same way, the draft of the US constitution was written on hemp[
1], now when hemp was first introduced as an alternative to paper the paper companies saw it as competitor and wanted it outlawed this is how Cannabis got its name Marihuana. Marihuana, or as people say now-a-days Marijuana, is a slang word for Cannabis that originated from Mexico.
Propaganda took off around 1937 by stating that Cannabis was a hideous, mind altering substance that should be outlawed. This is were you get the movie Reefer madness from, and the stereotypical view that only African Americans/Mexicans smoke Cannabis. As no one knew what Marihuana was they began accepting this as everyday knowledge which in turn made hemp look like a death drug. This made the hemp industry die and the paper industry boom as was wanted by the paper companies.
The reason it's illegal today is very simple. Money. The DEA make billions a year raiding house, & seizing assets. Pharmacists lobby for it to stay illegal so they can prescribe you a multitude of pills rather than prescribe Cannabis because they make more money from prescribing multiple pills rather than prescribing a quarter of weed every week.
Also, people have it stuck in their head that Cannabis is like meth, that it destroys people and makes then useless, I've been called a dope by my Dad many a times for smoking Cannabis and I think I've only just convinced him that Cannabis isn't all that bad, but being on a student visa if I get caught I get deported from the US and possibly never allowed back. This is why he's against my use of it.
It is viewed as a gateway drug which is pathetic because then milk is a gateway drug to coca cola and then most people move onto alcohol.
The stoner mentality is another reason people are swayed when voting for legalization. Some people are lazy and never get work done when they smoke but there are others, like myself, that love to work/learn about something. I've written scripts while high as I can think more clearly, don't get me wrong I can write a script perfectly fine when sober.
All it comes down to is that different people have different opinions and I'm fine with that but as I've said a thousand times what I do with my body should be my decision and I shouldn't have to fear for my life every time I go out and buy some Cannabis that I could be thrown in jail with murderers, rapists, or pedophiles.

Amen to this. I would never hurt some1 unlike the messed up people that don't smoke weed that go in these prisons. I think its crazy that its illegal as there is also no known deaths from cannabis infact an english scientist that worked for the goverment was researching all about drugs and came out with the FACT that cannabis and extacy are the least harmful drugs, even less harmful than tabaco and alcholo, he was then sacked for talking the truth. He also found that there is no known toxins in cannabis and you would have to smoke 800 kilos in 2 mins to overdose (AND STILL NOT DIE)
Cannabis/hemp seeds also has all the amino acids needed for a human to live on fine so in other words you could use it to feed the 3rd world and stop all the malnutrition problems in them places.
In my eyes there is more things cannabis can help with than ever do harm but it can give you mental problems as i have encountered my self and seen a few good m8s go sour. We'll all in all i don't think it should be illegal there should be a world legalization and people should only use it as an when they NEED to and not abuse it.

Weed doesn't give you mental problems unless you have pre-existing conditions or the weed is cut with shit to make it heavy (common). Also, ecstasy is far more dangerous than LSD or weed, at least on a toxicity level. I would like to read the study, because I don't agree with it.

Uhm, like with any other drug. Don't use it daily, it will have bad influences. But non are lethal, it just makes you slow. Your memory will greatly reduce. It also makes you more vulnerable to voices in your head, when schizophrenic is common in your family, don't use it too often.

So weed don't make you paranoid ? As I have been smoking it since I was 10 years old (I'm now 27) I know what the problems you get off of smoking weed, the worse being damage to your lungs purely through the smoke side of things. Without a doubt it is a mind altering drug and can effect you mentally as I have my self gone into a state of depression and thoughts of suiside. 2 of my close friends also went off the rail, 1 thinking he was the anti crist and then ending up in the towers/mental home. He is now out of there and got his own house and is studying science and in his first year got a 2.1 which is just under the best (a first) so he is doing amazing considering. But seriously, Geo, nice post. :)
I do agree with the legalization of marijuana, but many disagree. There are a lot of stereotypes associated with it that really piss me off. Some people, like myself, are a 3.8 GPA Engineering student while working and taking extra courses. This is a feat not taken by most. Funny, I smoke weed. What up. I am successful, I work hard, I have no lack of motivation, and I want to see where my life takes me. This is a lot of the "new breed" of smokers. Granted, in the past this was not so. I work with a 57 y/o ex-hippie who still avidly smokes (and deals I think..) who because he was so into drugs when he was young never went to school. Now he makes just slightly more than I do working at the same factory and he has a family to support. Figure that..
There are other more obvious stereotypes, but I haven't the will to get into them right now.. just some thoughts there.. just contributing to the conversation. :)

If you thought I meant weed doesn't do anything to affect your mental state, I apologize. Not what I meant at all. But, say that it absolutely will damage your brain is also a bit foolish. I smoke quite often and my depression and anxiety have gone extremely down. My friends are all stable headed and have graduated highschool and some are in college. I'm just finishing my junior year, and my memory isn't any better or worse once I've been sober for a few days. Short term is only affected when I'm high, really.
In my opinion there is far too little concrete evidence about weed to say it's longtern effects. I think that anecdotal evidence is what really matters, but people are swayed one way or another from stories they hear, lies they may have heard, other substances in the weed to make it heavier hurting their body, etc. I know in Europe and other parts of the world it's rather common for dealers to cut their weed with glass, clay, dirt, random other chemicals, and anything else. All of these things are obviously harmful on the lungs and mind, but I still don't believe that weed is inherently detrimental to your health, physically or mentally.

Yeah there is. There's a reason for that too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that weed makes you lethargic or stupid or anything like that. But it's not hard to walk around and look at the people who smoke weed - some of them just make me facepalm hard.
Some people just ruin it for everybody else, and it's sad that that has to be the case. A lot of the "wrong" people smoke weed, and when people see that it's very easy for them to blame it on weed because of all the stigma.

It's no secret that people smoke weed recreationally. But, it would be nice for people to be prescribed it entirely legally, as it's much safer than modern medicine, albeit less effective in some cases.
It's a bit silly to say it will solve all of our problems and make the world better and all that stupid nonsense. Yet again, it's about money.

Same here, it's not really a big deal.
I'm not really sure if legalizing weed would be a good thing though. My main argument from both sides deal with the gateway part of it. It's true that if weed was legalized it would be harder to get for younger people. Weed is often viewed as a gateway drug, and legalizing it would cut off the "gateway aspect." The same people who sell weed are often the same who will offer up harder drugs such as cocaine and ecstasy. So if it was legalized weed smokers wouldn't have that easy bridge to other drugs. However, I'm not sure if younger people would turn to a more accessible drug if it was. I'm just unsure if legalizing it will push kids to "rebel" by trying other harder drugs instead to start off. Lots of people smoke only weed, but would the go to drug change to something else such as Cocaine?
All speculation, I'm sure tons of people are predicting the effects as we speak. As of now, I'm all for decriminalization. Still not sure if it should be legalized..

THC is available in tablet form for those that want it prescribed as medicine, therefore weed does not need to be legal for medical use.
Any other argument about "money" is almost always easily disproved by the fact that many, many other countries in the world now allow hemp to be used commercially, BUT you don't see hemp dominating all these industries like fiber or paper or biofuels.
Sure, it COULD be used for all of those purposes, but for any one of those uses there is always another better, cheaper natural source.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compassionate_Investigational_New_Drug_programMaybe do some research before saying weed has no medicinal value. That's just a very small example, and you can see documentaries about at least one of the people in that program (George McMahon). I really dislike when people say that it has no value as a medicine. There are tons of people who would be dead if they never smoked/ate/vaped weed.
And pills are pure THC, and THC itself isn't the best for you. There is more to weed than just that one chemical, which is why Marinol and whatever other one(s) there are are not a viable option (yet).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9J2N6_bl0A shows the difference between pure THC and liquid marijuana. And it's not just her that had that reaction; THC is the main psychoactive ingredient in weed, and CBD (among others) "combat" it's psychoactive properties (or some shit like that, lol I dunno right now).

LOL, I watched the video.
If someone goes to the doctor because they are in horrible pain from cancer, does it really matter if the prescribed pill gives a high or a bad trip? As long as the pain is numbed, I don't think the doctor is going to care if you enjoyed yourself or not.
And the drug companies can always blend in other components if it really reduces adverse side effects. And then there would be standardized dosages, rather than a person having no idea if they're buying high THC pot or low.
If people want it to be used medically it needs to be held to the same high standards and scrutiny as other medical drugs are.

To add to that, just as Tylenol-3's cannot be purchased "over-the-counter" an d it must have a doctor prescription, the same would go for THC. Generally, this eliminates the problem.

I have thought about that quite a lot, and I don't think there's enough research to weigh my opinion. On one hand I do agree that consistent doses for medicine are better than people just taking it whenever, but one thing that I think is great about weed is that it can be "taken" as needed and there won't be any overdosing, side effects, or the like that modern western medicine would give you if you didn't take it consistently.
I also don't think it's a replacement for a good chunk of medicine, nor should it be used too self medicate, and talking to a physician is always a good choice if one is worried about their health.
I mostly want it to be legalized for recreational purposes to be honest. Pros outweigh the cons, in my opinion, to have drugs (weed, heroin, ecstasy, etc.) legal and regulated by the government.

It's illegal because it was only discovered at a relatively recent date. Due to health and safety issues these days, many things that would have been legal if they were introduced 100/200 years ago aren't. We only have things like alcohol and tobacco because they've been in our culture for many years, and illegalising it would be far too much of a hassle. It's the same with things like cars, they're only legal because we depend on them.

wat. Weed has been being used forever. It was "introduced" before the current era. It's illegal in America as both hemp and marijuana because some paper guy called it "marihuana/marijuana" for the first time and said how it was used by blacks and Mexicans and it made them look at white women twice and step on white men's shadows and made them perform other "unacceptable" acts. People didn't know that hemp was from the same plant which they just outlawed.

lolwat? I smoke weed ERRDAY (not really). I live in Oregon, too, so it's pretty relaxed laws here.
The reason it'd be better to be legal (more so for harder drugs) and regulated by the government is because then people will have a lower chance of ODing due to not knowing the strength of what they're taking. I have a close friend who has almost OD'd a few times and has literally died before from not knowing the strength of the heroin she was doing.
There's more to it than getting high. You may say recreational use "doesn't matter," but you're being extremely naive for not accepting that people will do drugs for recreational purposes regardless of how bad it is for them, and that issue needs to be addressed.
Then again, this is just SRL, so it's not like a lot of the discussion about weed is thought out.

Not knowing the strength of the drug is a lack of proper judgement on the user's part. It's not that I don't
accept that people will do drugs for recreational purposes, rather that it isn't a valid enough reason for doing them. Why do something harmful if it won't benefit you? Certain drugs just aren't worth the risk.

Lots of indigenous cultures use drugs to achieve altered state of consciousness. Not all of them are fun in the sun.
And as far as I am concerned it's not up to you to decide if a drug is worth a "risk". Are you a doctor? Are you the person taking the drugs?
I don't care if it's heroin, crack, meth, PCP, ketamine, weed, mushrooms, LSD, mescaline, MDMA or cocaine. What you put in your body and consume is your business not mine. Like I said, I don't feel like getting into if X is bad/good. All I care about are personal freedoms.
I think it's more tragic for a person to die from a gang fight or from crazy drug cartels or a meth lab explosion then it is for a meth junkie to die from addiction. If meth were legal it would be easier for people to get help too, since they could openly say they do meth and not worry prosecution.
And what does it matter if I haven't witnessed the destructive nature of meth? What I have witnessed is people who have been addicted to meth as well as people who only used meth for a short period of time. None of them are wrecks rotting away in a back alley either. So from my experiences is it fair to conclude meth is perfectly safe to use?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to promote meth here. Sure meth ruins lives but not every person who uses it. The same goes for every other drug, weed included. And perhaps there are more cases of meth use ruining lives, it is addictive for sure and it does lots of damage after prolonged use.
Whatever though, like I said I don't care about if meth is addictive. What I care about is personal freedoms. Here is a article about methamphetamine by the way. It's
biased of course but it's still a fairly good read (imo). It's semi-related to the topic at hand because since weed and meth are both illegal, there is some cross over about the issues applying to both.

I've read it, still I'm not completely convinced.
Here in the Netherlands we have a law that we have to wear seatbelts when the car is driving('engine running'). This has been because of several reasons. One of them is at a car accident, the driver and passengers would have dramatically more injuries. These injuries have to be paid. Indirectly this would cost the average civilian money. This law protects the other people.
If you make the selling and using of meth legal, you could have multiple problems. One of them is how do you explain against the not users that they have to pay for yet another meth user who has crossed the line. How would would explain to a car driver that it was not his fault he drove over that guy, that was tripping on the streets and felt for the car.
You can't. It's very hard to explain to the people who have been an indirect casualty of the meth legalization, that it's just for freedom that they have to suffer. Cause normally, when someone makes someone else suffer, we throw the in jail, don't we. I think that in contrast with soft drugs and drugs harvested directly from mother nature(paddos, weed, etc), Meth is much more addictive. Legalizing it could make hard drug addiction as common as cigarette addiction (<- probably not, this is just a worst case).
It's not easy to ban nor legalize it.

You're naive if you honestly think that marijuana in it's current state isn't a gateway drug. The people who sell weed are often the same people who sell other drugs. Not everyone who smokes weed does other drugs but I can't name very many people who do other drugs and didn't start with weed. Don't get me wrong, I smoke weed and I think that legalizing it could remove that gateway aspect and make other drugs more inaccessible. However, it scares me to think that another drug could substitute weeds place as young peoples "rebel," considering weed is fairly harmless compared to most recreational drugs. I'm 100% for decriminalization, my opinion is still developing on legalization, I'd like to see a more legalized version of Amsterdam before making a full decision. I'm from Canada by the way, weed isn't really frowned upon at all here.

Long-term marijuana abuse can lead to addiction; that is, compulsive drug seeking and abuse despite the known harmful effects upon functioning in the context of family, school, work, and recreational activities. Estimates from research suggest that about 9 percent of users become addicted to marijuana; this number increases among those who start young (to about 17 percent) and among daily users (25-50 percent).
Long-term marijuana abusers trying to quit report withdrawal symptoms including: irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which can make it difficult to remain abstinent. These symptoms begin within about 1 day following abstinence, peak at 2-3 days, and subside within 1 or 2 weeks following drug cessation."

So you would have extinguished ThÃch Quảng Đức? There's a big difference between someone doing some drugs and someone lighting themselves on fire. The former is only done to have a fun time, the latter is a form of suicide. Most of the time getting high doesn't kill you. Just like most of the time getting into a car doesn't kill you.
I like your ad hominem, sure I could be selfish and thinking about myself. And I guess I am a little - after all I am arguing for more freedoms and that directly benefits me. But thinking about myself? Aren't I arguing that other people should have more freedoms too? It doesn't work like that, either all of us have freedom or none of us have freedom. As far as someone killing themselves that's completely different, but to humour your question as long as it doesn't put me in any considerable danger I would help them. I think euthanasia should be an option and as long as somebody is in a stable state of mind they should have the choice to commit suicide. But that's entirely another topic.

I don't believe the situation you put forth happens. Just because a dealer has X doesn't make me want X any more if all I want Y. The problem is that it is fairly difficult to do any study on any illegal drugs. I believe people start with weed simply because it's the most available. Weed contributes the most to the revenue of the drug trade. Mexico's drug cartels make 60% of their money from marijuana. Going as far as calling people naive though I think is a little far, especially when you cannot prove 100% sure that marijuana is a gateway drug.

Also, don't you think it's strange that President Obama, who admits that he used pot quite often, and even cocaine when he could afford it, is not out there fighting for legalization?
If it's as "harmless" as everyone suggest, wouldn't he be out there saying that? Instead when he is questioned about it, he says legalization is not a solution to any of our problems.

Well people who don't even have the respect to stop smoking/doing any drugs before applying for a job isn't someone I'd want working for me anyway. But, if they seem like they would be a good employee, they pass the drug test, and then they're hired and do a fantastic job day in and day out, but smoke weed from time to time, would you really care? Why does what they do in their spare time relate to you or your work? I'm sure a few people who work for you drink alcohol, and that shouldn't matter if that's what they do in their own time, right?

Like noidea said (in quite a biased way, which doesn't help "the cause"), votes are far more important than him trying to legalize weed. He knows that it won't kill you if you smoke weed, and he has shown that he isn't super against it (i.e., the federal government *usually* won't come into the equation if weed is involved, and the state government is left to handle it unless it's a national matter or the like). And he's a smart guy - he is the president and all - so obviously he knows it's a losing battle at this time. And to be honest, it's not the most important thing right now. He's gotta pick his battles just like everyone else. Him letting states do their own thing is by far the best option at this time.
I can understand people not wanting people to smoke and drive or smoke and work or smoke in general because they think it's wrong. But keeping weed illegal is not the way to deal with that problem. Is legalizing the best way to keep what people do private and keep drugs away from kids? Maybe not, I don't know. But I know it being illegal doesn't work.

The only drugs I would consider extremely detrimental in that group would be cocaine and prescription drugs such as oxy, etc.

I agree with this. The only addictive property of marijuana would be the habitual aspect. It becomes a habit just like me eating yogurt after dinner or something. This is sometimes mislabelled as addictive by those who oppose marijuana, but in reality it is no more addictive than the chocolate bar you ate after lunch.

Your experiences are not a generalization of all who smoke weed. Plus chances are you are still fairly young and haven't gotten into harder drugs like people such as some of my friends have. Don't get me wrong, not all people use it to "rebel." But imo, it's those that do that get into harder drugs. I just question that if the weed bridge was gone more people may be turning to attempt the harder stuff first. I myself have only smoked dope, despite having many many opportunities to partake in MDMA, shrooms, cocaine, salvia, and some prescription drugs. The only drugs I would consider extremely detrimental in that group would be cocaine and prescription drugs such as oxy, etc.
I mean, of course this could change overtime, but honestly and truly, i dont WANT to do anything "harder" and "more effective". i dont enjoy getting "fucked up" from smoking, at all, infact i just like being relaxed. that is all, i do not intend to do any other drug in my life (except maybe alcohol for my 21st birthday, and i do not intend to get drunk that night.)
I dont want to have major side effects of a drug and everything bad that comes along with it. i enjoy having that feeling that after it starts to ware off, that i dont have to worry about throwing up drunk, or just waiting till i get some more, but instead, i am just a little tired afterwards.

I recommended doing shrooms at least once in your life. If you look at the structure of the active substance, you will see it's completely harmless. It's also impossible to get addicted, cause even if you get mentally addicted, you can only do it once every 10-15 days cause your body still has to dump the remedy it has made against the previous time.
And you can get mentally addicted to weed, smoked three a day. Than it's not easy to stop(it wasn't for me). Stopping with masturbation is something entirely different. This all depends on so many substances in your body, like testosterone and such.

i agree with this, drugs like LSD, Acid, Dmt, Shrooms, ect arnt bad for you if you do them on occasion, such as every few months.
Also you can get mentally addicted to anything, now getting physically addicted is completely different than getting mentally addicted.
getting mentally addicted means that you have made a pattern for yourself to keep on doing it, and you body gets used to that pattern and just kind of fits your patterns into your daily life.
some people have to have coffee every morning or they feel extremely tired, out of energy, cant concentrate ect, but if they go a few days w/o it they will notice there body will adjust to it as if he doesnt need the coffee anymore to be at his/her best.
If alcohol is legal than so should pot. Other drugs that are considered more "hardcore" should not be. Pretty simple.

Pot has changed me in multiple ways.. Not only good ones.. Sure, i got alot of inspiration, imagination, I enjoy things much more than before : food (I used to be anorexic), music (more open to new genres) among other things.
However, my memory has decayed a terribly large amount. For example, I go to a cinema, come out : "What did I just watch ?". No kidding, I have to read the ticket to find out, and remembering scenes ? Hah.
I've stopped smoking pot since these events have happened. I must say that sometimes I feel like smoking a little j' just to get hazy and enjoy the sh*tty tv show I'm watching with my girlfriend or just to relax to music, or even have insane dreams.
But damn, my memory… I regret smoking pot, I admit that.
I say it should be legal, to some degree as in : sales for only a few grams /month|week so that the state would controll the sales and what is sold : no cutting the hash with (I'm serious) camel shit or shoe wax.
Also this would bring in money to the state and bring up more jobs. Look at California, pot has a great role in their economy now and to be honest, things are going quite damn well over there.
tl;dr : I smoked pot, enjoy it, lost my memory, stopped.
Also, be careful with what you smoke. Many here cut the greens with glass shards, making them look like THC Crystals. In fact these shards have destroyed my friend's lungs, piercing huge holes in them. Basically, its not very grave but he cannot for example run like before, do sports, any physical exercise is much harder and sometimes painful than before.
He stopped smoking too.
Its fun until things turn the other way than it should.

Yeah I'll probably try shrooms one of these days when offered. I'm usually drunk when offered drugs though, and shrooms seems like it might be a bit better while sober so I can actually remember it.

NEVER, NEVER do shrooms while you're drunk. It could be your dead, and I'm not kidding. Not just the remembering part. It's the reason why it was banned recently from the netherlands…

In my personal opinion weed is a gateway drug (from personal experience). I look at it this way, I barely had the guts to try weed, if I was offered coke or other stuff instead of weed in the exact same scenario I would have declined FOR SURE. After getting bored with pot after a couple months I have "experimented" with other drugs (Salvia, mush). So in this guy's opinion, definitely a gateway drug. Also in this guy's opinion, weed is not good. I do think it is addictive (physiologically) because I did have a very hard time quitting. (off for a week, on for a month, back and forth until I just did a complete stop of all drugs including alcohol). Weed is a de-motivator, judging by its affects on me and my friends. Weed doesn't add anything to the average (note) smokers life, so if it isn't positive, why do it.
Also, it's quite expensive to be a smoker, around here its $5 a joint (not buying bulk) and I hear that's quite cheap. Smokers can easily go through a couple joints a day (even I was doing 2 joints, evening smoking only). And think about this, your money (aka your spent time) is going to support a CURRENTLY illegal activity. That money fuels grow ops which are HEALTH RISKS. (not just to growers either). All the growups around my hometown (one of the highest ratio of growop towns) the houses have to be gutted. This is a huge sucker punch to the property owners (because they all rent for obvious reasons). Sure if pot was legal then this wouldn't happen (except it probably would because they can produce so much pot at so little [upfront] cost [not counting society's cost]) but do you really feel good about giving your money to these people? The same people who also [very probably] deal other drugs? Ok we can agree pot isn't that bad, but a large portion of that money goes to gangs [don't say there are any positives with that].
Btw I have done shrooms while drunk and it ain't that bad. (maybe not for a 1st time).
Anyways, if you read my rant props :)

Odd, here in the Netherlands shrooms are strong enough to forget how to walk, swallow and so much more. But what if the shrooms effect is the feeling of immortality? A common effect I experienced to, this can easily add up with alcohols 'forgetting the limits' effect…

Yeah I didn't do that much while drunk. I would say that moderation is not key when it comes to drugs.
