Every time I open Simba via wine for some reason it never shows the window, instead it goes to the top task bar next to wifi/sound and if use Window switcher or ALT + TAB; I can never get the window. Any ideas?

This happened to me, too. (First of all, it's not WiNe, it's Wine.) I had to right click the icon and do hide and then right click and do show every time a window was in front of it.

Open a console and type
wine -vWizzup?

Try a different workspace, try enabling/disabling the wine desktop, try checking the settings.xml for the top/left of the Simba window.

I re-installed Simba, and it fixed the problem. Although, I am not sure what I did wrong during the original installation to cause this.
@i luffs yeww - Yeah, I forgot to add to the main post, but I did try the hide/show "technique" as it had worked for me before, however it didn't this time.
Any ways, thanks for all the help, I'm happy to have my Simba working again. :)
