@Simtoon: I never played DotA, because I wasn't a "gamer" like now.(even though I am still not a gamer, but plays more than that time)
But I am really looking forward DotA 2 as I love all other valve game pretty much and hon too.
@masterBB: Used under the right circumstances it's a sure way of achieving a few smile or more.(I think this was the more on-topic judging by the title :p)

Isn't DotA that stupid custom map in WC3? And whats this DotaA2? Like a newer version of the map or something?

DotA is WC3 modification I beleive and DotA2 is being a comletely new and standalone game by Valve.
DotA is Defend of the Ancients while DotA 2 stands for DotA 2 because of some licensing issue I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I heard.
