I have no idea where to put this so if someone wants to move this that would be fine. I really need a job whether online or at a store. I live in Bonney Lake, Washington and I will be 18 on June 23. Its sad but I am getting so desperate that I am asking SRL if that have any thoughts. I have apply'd to a lot of places multiple times.

Trust me, I know the feeling. I'm almost 24 and I can't even find a job where I'm at.

Jobs are very hard to come by, especially in the summer season. Just keep spending time finding something to do, and try a few employment agencies.

Tried. Just can't seem to find one. And I have college to pay for next year… awesome.

You just need to be persistent and accept _anything_ that comes along.
If you can't find a job, make a job :)
What skills do you have? If you are good at certain subjects you could offer to tutor students at your school in lower grades. Or if you play an instrument you could teach - let all the parents with young(ish) children in your 'circle' know that you are offering.
Another thing: let _everyone_ you know, know that you are looking for a job. The more people who know, the higher your chances are of hearing about an opportunity through the grapevine. It's not easy at all and you need to expect to have to put in a big effort, but eventually you'll get one!
I got rejected from McDonalds; didn't even get an interview. Beat that.

Okay Rich haven't failed that hard. Its the one place I refuse to apply to. Reason being the people that work at my McDonalds.

I got one, pays over minimum wage. Im 16. You just have to plan plan plan and accept anything they offer. Dont be a snob thinking you're too good for a job if its not the one you want. Just take it.
McDonalds looks for deadbeats that have no chance of moving on in life. So, they take into consideration that if you're over qualified they just deny you because if a better job comes a long they know you'll take it in a heartbeat.
As for OPs job problem. Start doing odd jobs, post on Craigslist, sign up to monster.com. Ask your friends/family if they could possibly put in a recommendation at the jobs they work at that you could apply for. The best way to get a job is to know people with a job that are on good terms with management/HR.
Good luck. :norris:

Congratulations. I'm going to be applying for Best Buy in a few days. Applied before but to the wrong one with no openings in computers and never had the time to apply again.
