Oh my goodness. My mind just exploded.

If you go to any wikipedia article and click on the the first link (not in parenthesis or in italics), and keep following these links, you will always end up at "Philosophy.'

It doesn't actually always work, sometimes you end up at Math. ;)

I will keep trying but it's mind-blowing.
Tried it a few times starting from random article and worked.
You have to click the first link in the actual description of the title not how it pronounces or what else should be done to the page. Did I get it?

I told this to my parents and they were: "Okay, why so funny/interesting?"
I was: "OMG, can't you believe from THAT MUCH page you end up at philosophy with a simple pattern like this? That's amazing!"
parents: "cool story bro"
me: "…"

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, this is pretty amazing. I read that 96.7% of all Wikipedia's articles will eventually lead to Philosophy

Math still leads to philosophy, and philosophy is circular. Anyone wanna shoot out an idea as to why? ( I have my own, but I want to see if anyone else shares mine.) :D

Humans (known taxonomically as Homo sapiens,[3][4] Latin for "wise man" or "knowing man")[5] are the only living

Make sure you click living, as taxonomically and Latin don't count.

The rules state that you should not click the links inside parentheses

E: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Get_to_Philosophy

Rules
  • Chains are defined as ending either when Philosophy is reached, you reach a page with no links, a page that does not exist, or you get stuck in a loop.
  • The basic idea is to look for the first link in the main text of the article, not anything parenthetical or added to make navigation easy.
  • Links in Italics, Disambiguation links, Infoboxes, links to Wiktionary and links to other Wikis don't count.
  • External links to other websites or links to other parts of the page you are already on don't count.
  • Anything inside parenthesis (including dates of birth, Greek or Latin definitions) doesn't count.
  • Red links do count, because they are not parenthetical or added for navigation. See Strategy for possible ways of dealing with red links.
  • Please read Gaming The System below if you are considering changing the first link of an articles in the chain yourself.

E2: Oh wait, I misread your post. I though you said I should click "taxonomically". My bad.
