Player Auctions [PA] A Safe Alternative to PayPal

Player Auctions: http://www.playerauctions.com/ works like a middle man (MM) for buyers and sellers to keep both parties safe from scams and charge-backs!

I would go into detail about it, except they already have very detailed FAQs about buying and selling on their site!

Buying: http://www.playerauctions.com/help/content/making-your-first-purchase/

Selling: http://www.playerauctions.com/help/content/making-your-first-sale/

Do note that like Western Union [WU] Player Auctions also charges fees which are (I'm pretty sure) often times/always higher than WU fees, but though PA you get a bit of extra security since they function as a Middle Man [MM] so no one can possibly get scammed.

Post any questions/discussion about PA and their services here!

Their fees are $2+10%. But that's nothing compared to the added security when dealing with untrusted people.

How can they guarantee that charge backs won't occur? And this is pretty much using MMs. Why not have official SRL MMs?

I can't guarantee chargebacks. Playerauctions is an actual company and they insure this kind of stuff or w/ever. That's part of the transaction fee.

The Buyer sends the money to PA, Then you send your product to the buyer, and he accepts the package and notifies PA, PA will send the money to you.

What if the buyer says: "No I didn't receive the product"? (Although he did)

You can prove the package was sent.

I was trying to sell on PA at one point but never did.

They require sellers to provide picture evidence (less evidence) or video (more evidence) to plead your 'case'.

They do a paypal investigation type deal and its pretty easy to take a 2min camtasia video.

Is this good or bad?

My guess is good. I don't see how evidencing what you're trying to sell could be a bad thing.
