Hey guys,

I'm glad to inform you that the infamous SRL Black Market has been opened a bit more for non-members!
You should be able to see the market automatically, providing you meet the requirements.
The current requirements are:
300 posts and 6 months
or
SRL Membership


Note: requirements for junior members itself is just 6 months and 100 posts now. You will need the 300 posts, even if you're still a junior member from the past.

Please note that spamming was not, is not and will not be tolerated! The same applies for scamming, you are responsible for your own SRL account and scamming will result in a ban.
Be sure to read the Black Market Rules before engaging in trade.

All accounts should be promoted by now. If not: post once and wait an hour. Every hour the system will kick in and promote accounts.

The market can be reached at: http://villavu.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=222 or should be just visible at your frontpage.

I hope together we can make this a succes! Abuse will result in the Market closing down, something we'd like to avoid.

Already knew from srl stats that there weren't that many scripts.

No restrictions currently.

I suppose that's fair enough. See how it goes, and then decide if any changes need to be made. Perhaps one suggestion is to have Jr sales verified by a MM? MM in this case could mean Market Mod or Middle Man. ToF was suggesting MMs to apply in a thread:

Awesome! And my summer is just starting later this evening (Last final and I'm free!).
I will maybe write up some more tutorials and good stuff like that for everyone!
I also agree we should maybe now have some MMs (Middle Mans) now that we have opened up so much, having the option would give some users a better sense of security.

I have some good ideas for it and will make a thread elsewhere about it :D.

This is pretty exciting, I really hope our 0% scam rate doesn't go up! I don't think the Jrs would like to loose this privilege! <3 :p

Well, if you can see it, that doesn't really matter. However, even though you apparently can't see the posts in Apps, I don't think you should even be able to see the section.

I'm glad this finally happened. I might not post a lot, but I do check the forums about everyday. I have been seeing talks about this for a while lol. Now if only I wasn't poor and had 58 more posts lol

If you logout, you can also see the Black Market forum (although it shows it's private). Registered users can also view the appliances forum now, but only their own threads. This way, you don't have to remember the link of your application.

When my application was going on no matter what I would have done the same.
And that is placing my application link in the best place on my toolbar :D.

:) lol yes twas aweful. Although I did get to spend part of my mornings on a windows 98 computer with no internet because it was constructive to improve my programming skills. I was only writing html in a notepad file and creating websites so I could pretend I was surfing the web. Of course with no internet theres no pictures, so every illustration on my sites were either the sample windows pics and whatever my unartful ass could come up with

Used to be 7 days/10 posts for access to script section, but that restriction was lifted. You probably still have it from the old times.
