Don't have a specific phone in mind, but as a tip: Ignore all the apple fans and go android.

if you like games (that will run without lagg) go with the iphone, if you like more simple games and puzzle games, get the android htc. If you want the cheaper phone go the htc plus you can get many models unlocked with pre-paid sim cards!

Be more specific about what you would like your phone for and that will help us help you in your decision ;)

And if you are into Minecraft get the Xperia.

That's a hard one, I believe all smart phones have great music play features.

Touchscreen?
what kind of keyboard?
Size of screen?

also how big is your bedroom?
do you have a double bed?
do you have a sweet computer setup?

O/T: The HTC computer sync program is shitty and I can't get it to work so I just bluetooth stuff from my old phone :p so when talking about music you need to think about the phone accessibility through the computer, the HTC wi-fi is good and can connect to most networks including ones with WEP keys etc.

Yup. Touchscreen.
Keyboard.. (I don't really know, that's why I'm here :) )

Not very small. Something that I can see clearly (Like if I'm browsing Villavu with phone :P)

Android Phones sounds great!

I have the bottom one, I bought it for $200 AU, you should be able to get them from $200-250 USD tops.

ZTE Blade. Too cheap to be true but it IS that cheap ;)
Only thing is some stock ROMs tend to suck, but this phone is way too easy to root/flash cfw. Just buy it, unrar some files at SD then turn on while holding volume-down button and boom, unlocked, rooted and Android 3.0 Gingerbread :D
Goes for around 100 euro.

Edit: it blows all wildfires out of the water. 800x480 vs Wildfire's 320x240 resolution..

Edit2: if you actually want to spend money, HTC Incredible S or SGS2.

Is battery life important?

Yes: Anything that has a screen smaller than 4.0", HTC Desire, Legend or Hero could he ok.
No: Samsung Galaxy S2 it is. Actually useful things like the magazine-like dashboard that can fit all the widgets you need in 2 or 3 tabs, no endless scrolling there. Also fast navigation in the main application menu, because you can create folders. Voice command, so you can use the navigator when driving! You can just tap twice the home button and say something like "Navigate, Longstreet 12, Miami" or any shit like that!

I'd guess iPhone is good for a music-phone because of iTunes where you can buy music pretty easily, but iTunes itself is pretty crappy and if you already got the mp3s that you want to listen too then I wouldn't bother getting an iPhone.

What I do is I download mp3s of from youtube or other music streaming websites and send them over to my HTC Desire, which then handles the rest.

Everyone remember he is in Finland, that means no droid* shit, verizon, sprint, tmo, att, blah blah.
check out the n9 from Nokia It should be coming soon with meego :)
I suggest something with a 4 inch or larger screen. People worry about battery life and think the screen has a lot of affect on it. This is only partly true. The screen spends much more time off than on, so the screen isnt going to have as much affect as most people think. If you're still worried, samsung uses an AMOLED screen on the galaxy S II. AMOLEDs are very efficient but still extremely vibrant. I suggest almost anything android. Stay away from phones like the hero or desire unless you're willing to stick with a bit of outdated hardware for a while. Check out your local carriers and try and use phones with and without keyboards. Whether or not to have a keyboard is completely up to what you like.

The Galaxy S II is an absolute beauty of a screen, I'm getting one when my contract ends in the summer, and I'm completely obsessed. Some incredible hardware on that, the only phone that even slightly compares is the new HTC Sensation. I personally prefer the S2 due to some of the smaller features, and it being far thinner. If you're patient enough to wait until about August, I can give you a personal review.

I would say something like this…Apple products are all beautiful etc etc but…i think they are boring…
I would suggest that new phone, the one from lg ,maximo 2x.
My opinion :)
