As some of you probs know , I have a new Clan . Anarchy1

and so while Setting Up The Forums i realised i needed a Logo / Banner
for the site. :)

now bare with me cos ive never done this sorta thing before
but after 2 hours playing about with gimp this is what i came up with … :)

please tell me what you think nd Be HONEST about it is it any good?

Note: i know there nt my origonal images but i dint have anything to work with …

I like how it looks on the website, but there's a lot of blank space. I would suggest stretching it out and maybe adding some more small details trees or something in the background. Not bad though. :)

the text blends in too much. make it stick out more

I dont like the Text font. Make the text more titleish, meaning stronger more profound, less like a kid with a crayon. The rest I like :)

completely agree, look at bumblebee's sig: very clear and easy to read. plus it dominates his sig, which is what u want the clan name to do.

Well i Have updated it now .. take a look at the last post i made .

im not sure it dominates it . But i think its a little more profound .
nd it sticks out more now . i just dont wnt to loose the gold . (altho it seems to have gon a little yellow :) )

it does look good on the site but the mage dude is to dull in color and the goblin thing is a bit pixilated. also your text that says anarchy could look beter

much better :)

EDIT: go to site, look at mage. look to the right. there is a vertical line there.

lols the only problem is finding the right fonts.

and theres not a lot i can do with the bandos goblin ..
i can't find a non pixalated image of one anyware

Yeah looks much better. I still don't like the big green space on the right of the website, though.

I think you did a good job, personally. I was just wondering why everything is true, sharp color while the mage on the right has a white'ish haze?

no i uploaded latest banner image copy [asted the link here .. (a this stage it was working )

and then Coh3n said about not being able to use the link

now my server dead apart from my Cpanel ..

god .. that was annoying .. for some reason php and httpd stopped talking

Lots of improvemtns over the first banner you made. You have the "eye". You've seen that the warrior on the left overlaps the flag, so you've chosen to place the right figure over the flag too: thats the "eye"

Now place the tree on the right behind the wizard :)
