Finally got My ear surgery done to fix my ruptured Eardrum. Also got some repairs done on the inside. My low freq hearing should come back thanks to this surgery. I'll be out of it for a few weeks those that have me on Facebook feel free to post there. My wife will relay any messages to me.

E: pain levels are manageable. I just want to get some of my hearing back. No one can really understand what it means to live in silence. Sound means a lot to us that are losing our hearing.

I always imagined blowing an eardrum would be agonizing. I'll bet can appreciate having hearing in the first place and probably realize how much we all take it for granted. ;)
Congratulations on your surgery going through and being most successful! Who knows, maybe you'll have hearing like a fox after this is all said and done. :p

Hope you get all of your hearing, or atleast majority of it back, would rather live with some hearing loss than no hearing. i cant hear really high sounds, or really low sounds due to work in a lumbermill without ear protection.. lesson learned. but i can feel the pressure when there is supposed to be a sound there. hope you recover and can enjoy sounds again. best of luck and speedy recovery Brak.
