I have gotten so many phishing emails from people claiming to be Jagex.

Example:


See? On this image, it actually looked legit, there was only my email address listed, and the link looked legit. But the actual link linked to this website:

http://secure.runascepa.com/m=weblogin/loginform.wsmod=offence-appeal&ssl=1&expired=0&dest=index.ws

Please do not go to that link and enter any of your account information! You have been warned

This was actually the first email I ever got, I knew it was fake because it had a lot of other email addresses listed and the link says runescaqe

I've gotten so many emails from these fake Jagex people, maybe around 10. Not sure how they got my email address, but it could have been from RSbot website (They could have been hacked (Again))

Just wanted to warn you of these emails, and also wanted to ask if anyone else has gotten them?

Thanks. Yeah I've seen quite a few recently also. Gmail is blocking most of them for me. Remember Jagex VERY RARELY sends you e-mails for any reason, ALWAYS check the URL first!

They used to never send you anything at all. But they don't send you any emails regarding your account afaik (with the exception of recovery email verification, etc).

I've never gotten these, but wow… so close in names I could only imagine how many account's they've stolen from this.

It's pretty funny because I haven't registered this email on any of my accounts so i think they must have gotten it from RSbot

I also got a shitload of emails from people claiming to be from rsca and wanting me to download new Nexus Pro or whatever. They all go to spam folder now.

My browser will give me a phishing detected message if I go to runascepa.com
I get a CRAPTON of emails from "Blizzard Entertainment" but I have NEVER played any of their games.

^+1, sc1 is one of the best games ive played so far.

I get like 9 phishing emails a day for WoW on my one hotmail account… Its really annoying because I report them as phishing every time and they still go to my inbox. Funny thing is that email isn't used anymore for my account.
