You should specify if its got the mobo that has had trouble in the past (like the 3k mobo), or a similar mobo to the 1k that used to be able to 'perm mod.' ive been out of psp land for a long time, so I dunno how it all goes now. Correct me if there have been updates for these issues.

I never really heard about mother boards that have had trouble on PSPs.

ye, used to be that some 2k's could be perm modded like the 1k because of something with the mobo. And all 3k's could not be perm modded. Some of the 2k's had a similar mobo to the 3k so they could not be modded. I think that might now be an issue now. What firmware do you have on there?

Are you sure it was the mother board and not the official firmware version? Cause I remember that to only certain firmwares could be modded.
