Paster

This is an extension for people who develop scripts in Simba. (Just a notice for people who don't need to read all this…)

I've been working on updating Paster for a few days now, and I just noticed I never made a thread for it.

Paster can paste the current script to any LodgeIt host, like http://paste.villavu.com.
Paster can also grab a paste by id from any LodgeIt host.
It has support for up to 5 host.

Small Note: Paster will ask to mask sensitive data like passwords and usernames, but I would not rely on this as it can backfire and your username/password will be on a public site!

Unstable Paster can paste your selected text and also increases the max host count to unlimited.

paster.sex is included with Simba when you install, all tho it will not auto update.

You can all ways find the latest stable release of Paster at https://github.com/MerlijnWajer/Simba/raw/master/Extensions/paster.sex (0.4a at time of writing)

looks like it could be useful, why'd it miss all the attention?

Cause the name isn't very 'eye-grabbing'.
Before researching, I didn't know what it did. It's a nifty tool though!

It looks like it would be handy to some people, but personally I'll stick with uploading attachments. What happens if you forget to remove your username/password when you paste some code? Could you go back to that same paste and edit them out?

Paster will mask most SRL scripts password/usernames already but if it somehow gets thru, You will need to message Wizzup and have him remove the paste.

We should prob add a button to the paste page for deletion… (Check IPs?)

There ya go. Maybe a login system similar to SRL Stats? Or would it really be worth it?

It could use the same login system as stats, surely?
+ More incentive to make a stats account.
