Has anybody tried/currently doing online classes for highschool?

i feel as if when i go to school i am ALWAYS tired, there is never one day out of the school year where i am not exhausted when i go to school. and i feel as if i could get a full time job and still have an extremely flexible schedule if i did online courses.

so if you have any information about this, please, post below, i want to know your thoughts.

Less Video Games + More Sleep= Awake in School.

If its a medical condition, I advise takeing caffine pills if its that serious.

Full Time Job shouldn't be a priority in High School, as school is #1 priority.

Anything else is pointless.

Edit:

And to answer your question, online courses are not needed for you.

Unless your pregnant and about to have a baby. or have a child at home.

Online Courses are mainly used for parents who don't have a choice to go to school, because they have to take care of thier kid.

You do.

I took a credit recovery class online, I honestly think it would have been a better idea to have gone to summer school. I found it easier to procrastinate and lose focus than if I had been in a classroom.

Like Overtime said, you should consider looking into some sort of medical treatment for your exhaustion issues, or setting aside more time to sleep.

i think i put enough time aside for sleep, i go to sleep at 9-10 ( on school nights ) and wake up at 6. the majority of my friends go to bed at 12 and are fine. hell. i know noidea irl and he gets like 5 hours of sleep a week, and he still seems more awake than me.

ive been maybe thinking about doing the 2 hours of sleep a night change (its where you sleep 30 minutes, wake up and do stuff for about 2 hours, sleep for another 30 mins, repeat till u have 2 hours of sleep) as i think i would be able to spend more time on my studies

I did online classes my junior year of high school as I had to go back to England during the school year to obtain an extension on my visa.

Some advice I should give you is that if you're serious about taking online classes then keep your work productivity UP. You may be at home and think "Oh, I have 2 weeks to give that assignment in, I'll do it next week" NO! Do it now! I procrastinated way to much and spent an extra 9 weeks completing online school and therefor it cut into what was supposed to be my Senior year and I ended up starting my senior year 9 weeks late at my old high school.

Also they don't offer all the classes you are taking in high school so you may want to wait until the semester ends and then enroll into online classes.

Other than that it is pretty easy. Complete the required amount of work needed in a week and talk to your teacher once in a while on the phone.

Remember don't be lazy as it will bite you in the ass later.

I'm doing it now just to make my parents happy (I really don't care about going to college or anything like that, and really don't even care about a highschool degree anytime soon). It's extremely easy. I had to take a placement test and I got 100% on all of them. They only have classes for if you get up to a 90% on them. :/

You have to make yourself do it much more than regular school, but you can also do it whenever. It also only takes a minute or two to do an assignment in some cases.

Dont play too much runescape!

But seriously, don't use too much gadgets and stuff that give out light(tvs, comp, ipods etc), they can seriously stuff up your sleep cycle.

E: Btw, stop gravedigging people!

Take advanced placement classes instead of getting a job, you will save more money than you can possibly make. I got a half a semester of college credit for AP classes. You can't go to highschool online. Stop playing video games and go to bed and get at least 9 hours, then you wont be tired any more.

I'm taking online classes atm to get ahead my senior year, and i have to say, they are amazing :) im "required" to do a lesson a day(which is 3 days worth of work), and i'm doing each lesson in about 30 minutes. This means i can do about 5 lessons a day, and either have the rest of the week off, or finish early if i wanted to
