Just got an old account back after randomly putting in an appeal. Has a lot of quest done, and some skilling, etc…tried to talk and found out I was muted.
I was manual permanent muted in August 2006, but then muted (again???) in November 2007. I wonder how this is possible..?

Ouch that's harsh… Didn't know they did that lol

This shows how they just blindly hand out punishments contrary to what they say their policies are. They didn't even pay attention to the fact that you were already muted.

Also, if anybody wanted to wonder why they handed out that manual mute.

Permanent mute for asking someone's cell phone provider woo-hoo! I didn't even ask for the number man? Why mute? Also, this was so long ago I do not even remember the conversation or who it was even with. It was obviously one of my real life friends and I do hope it wasn't through PM or else it would have been him who reported me (he wanted mod so bad, perhaps this is the case?)..if not it was just some random noob :p.
