Ok what.

You say "hacked by RsBot" and then "RsBuddy is infecting clients" those are two different bots, which one did it?

Also, links to threads with more information please.

Also, sorry for your loss that blows!

Here's a thread with some 'info' remeber this is rsbuddy forums so your eyes may bleed after reading a few posts:

So, RsBuddy is all safe?
And I'm not sure if it's all propaganda, I'm seeing people complaining of being hacked on powerbot forums, whatever though….

Some scripts, as I have said, have some somewhat malicious code in RSBuddy, according to Timer. I would be absolutely shocked if some scripts didn't have more malicious code. Closed source ftl as always.

SRL or nothing, I always say.

It was probably RSBot. Their management and community is shit - RSBuddy is actually pretty decent.

I don't hang around java bot communities too much either, both of them are filled with mostly idiots, but I agree with this statement yeah.

We've already gone over this topic. All scripts are vetted both automatically and manually before they're pushed live to the script repository. Any malicious code is weeded out before it ever has the opportunity to be downloaded by the user base.

The "malicious code" was something that would terminate the script if his account said a phrase ingame to the user running the script. Which is malicious I suppose (he removed it a long time ago - had it when it was beta), but not something to be highly concerned over.

I know it wasn't anything that bad, but the point is (and this is @ Method as well, and I know we've gone over this, but my mind hasn't changed) that it can't be said that it's just "safe," because things can be over looked (especially once more and more scripts are made, people may get lazy/stupid/clever). And I'm not saying that that's just a Java bot problem; it's happened here as well. It just seems silly to me to say that one is way safer than the other. They have their pros and cons.

Seriously I have no idea why does RSBuddy even exist, it has the exact same GUI as EpicBot, and EpicBot and RSBuddy both probably have the exact same core as RSBot.

I trust jacmod and arbiter. They explained in a thread that your info/pass is good encrypted and that they change their encryption every week/2 weeks. They are honest and really nice people. Thats why they left devoleping RSbot and many good scripters did to and are now on their side/site. Like endosskeleton and more.. Before on RSbot, jacmod always monitored everything. Paris did not do this properly or not at all for periods and dont gives a shit about peoples accounts thats why his crew splitted up. Paris is really a lying whore. Jacmod knows really a lot about internet security/protection. Its paris that choose for money and let the client be infected. He knew about it.. Didnt warned anyone to change passwords etc etc. Paris and the whole rsbot can go to hell.. He sold his soul to the devil

I really hope TRiBot takes off honestly. It looks like a good combination of SRL and a java bot in one.
