Simba Crashes

I don't know if this is a bug or what, but every time I am running the MSI script (I don't think it is just MSI but it what I have been trying). It loads up smart and then when I go back to Simba it crashes on me. Everything closes after that.

I had an msvcr71.dll error and I downloaded the dll and its working so I don't think it is that.

naw the msvcr71 happens a lot on comps that don't have the C++ stuff so that isn't it

I had the crash happening and it just went away after a while, try to run a different script for a bit then close simba, reopen, and try out msi

Wasn't there a version of Simba released that helps you debug errors like this?

This is a dll error that I'm missing but when I put it there it still crashes.

Try not using the MSI form. For whatever reason it has caused some people's Simba's to crash. We are working on this issue, it's just going to take some time.

okay, I am guessing its in the constants to disable it.

Yes, it's the first constant (I think) in RunMe.simba.

Okay I will try it tonight see if that helps. What do you think is wrong with it to make the program freeze up, because I am working on a form for my script.

I honestly don't know. My best guess is that it's something to do with the image routines and acceleration in the form. That being said, people's Simba's seem to crash after the form was closed, but for whatever reason, not using the form has helped. It's a weird situation.

Hmm, well I don't know because it can't be a slow computer thing, I have a hexacore processor with 4 gb DDR3 RAM.

I read somewhere that Simba doesn't really have full support of forms, so that could be part of it. I'm not sure.

I wouldn't count on it. :p He's not a huge fan of forms.

Oh sad :( I like forms, but I see why he doesn't like them. There more for noobs in my opinion.

They're more user friendly, yes, but a pain in my opinion. I do enjoy making them, though. :) I wouldn't worry too much about yours causing Simba to crash. Just make sure you test it frequently so if it does happen to crash, you'll be able to figure out what you changed and maybe fix the issue.

Yeah, its going to take a while to make my script. I want to add a lot of new features and I have college to deal with too.
