Hey guys, I have an old XboX 360 pro.
I have no idea why I bought it, I've played it VERY little throughout the years, and now that I built myself a computer I find even less use for it.

It is pretty much brand new, and I have all original packaging.

Anyone know much about modding XboX 360s and weather this will at all raise the price I can sell it for? Or should I just save the trouble and just sell it as is?

:D Didn't really expect to sell it here, was just asking around.
No idea yet, was just looking through some Amazon prices looks like $170-$200 for it?
Also since it's older/not updated or whatever would the hax0rs be willing to pay more for it or something?

I don't know, but you should just sell it to me and I could come pick it up :D.

That would be cool. Do you really want it, or do you just think it would be cool if you bought it because then you could come to my house and see me?? :p

youd have to see when you last updated it to know whether or not its old enough for haxors. idr what update it was that once you get it or after it, if broke something so you can go back and jtag it. you could search it. but itll be worth more if its that old, but alot more if you take the time to jtag it

Your kernel must be kernel 2.0.7371.0 or lower (I think it was an update in July '09) to be able to JTAG it. You can check it by opening up the system info tab from the dash. You'll also need to dump and check your nand. Googling a tut on that would be your best bit (you'll need to make yourself a cable).

You can still flash your Xbox if you want no matter when it was last online. It's fairly easy and should up the price a fair bit (Google is always your friend). If you want a 'custom' Xbox, then you can change the LEDs (easy) if you want (blue looks good [that's what I've got]).
