Yea i know ment to say desktop.

You seem the miss the point Capricorn, its compatible with 1080p meaning, you can plug this in to your 55" tv and browse the web.

It isn't made for that much of gaming but more for the average person. Kinda like a laptop, just without a screen.

Its pretty awesome, if only it was faster and cheaper(waaaay too expensive @ 595 for basic), i would buy it.

Why are the specs so weak? in that size you'd think they can cram a lot better.. but maybe it's because of heating or something

I think its awesome, its a brilliant idea. Before you know it, we are going to have keyboards with a built in computer inside them. Instead of carying your dekstop to LAN parties, you can take your keyboard! And bring your mouse, thats it!

Atom is horrible, and the case look horrible. Great idea though.

Can your keyboard run Crysis?

Markus

2011-04-16 15:25:43

Guys, this is a HUGE improvement of the original commodore 64!
I mean, instead of a floppy drive it supports a hard drive.
And HD graphics!
And 512mb dedicated video memory, compare that to 64kb of DRAM in which you had to do EVERYTHING.

<3

Edit: lol @ $595 price tag, same as the original one back in the days :)

keyboards with built in computer? sounds a lot like a laptop, and people already carry their laptops around instead of desktops….

and that keyboard looks like an old invention, it's very ugly in my opinion. but I guess it's kinda cool.

The reason i linked the Commodore 64 is because it was remade.

But as you can see thier making newer up to date keyboard/computers.

The future is here ladies and gentlemen.

Before you know it, the keyboard/computer will be able to connect to the t.v. through wifi, no more plugging in.

Even thought thier is already a graphics card in the works of doing that already…

For the same price of these PCs you can buy a way better laptop.

This is definitely not the future.

Well, they made the previous products, so it's certainly their right to do so.

That could have at least attempted to make it look more like a current keyboard, the layout and colors makes it look like one of those older computer keyboards.

This is just all out of your generation.
It's a piece of beauty and for many, a major part of somebody's childhood.

I'm not dissing the looks, I'm saying they should have put better shit inside of it.

At almost $600 you can buy a fucking i3 + dedicated processor that will run laps around this.

That keyboard is big enough to run REAL hardware, not trash that Intel pumped out just to pump out.

If you didn't grow up with it then you don't get it.

My heart started beating madly and I got a rush just looking at this thing. I cut my teeth on this thing as did millions of others.

I remember the first time I hacked in and took over the screen fonts and made it do custom shit. Ah memories.

wasn't referring to you Capricorn.

And yes you are right that at 600 you can buy a i3 which will run laps around an Atom processor (if it had legs) but you still don't get why this piece of art is so great.

Until then, don't bother posting on this thread.

Let me help you understand:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64

Operating system: Commodore KERNAL/Commodore BASIC 2.0
CPU MOS Technology 6510

@ 0.985 MHz (PAL version)

NOW wouldn't you say that the new commodore 64 will run laps around it since it can run one billion seven hundred ninety-nine million times faster?
