Conquest bot?

Conquest is stradegy minigame in runescape.

You can even stake unlimited in conquest so I i started to wonder if it's bottable. (I don't really know if there is people staking in conquest)

Would it be super hard to make bot that can almost always beat a human?

It's so complex that you can't calculate all possible moves to always make the best one but you could probably calculate more moves than a human could?

Conquest is a bit like chess with way different rules and special moves etc…

I think there could even be like 40-100 different ways to use first move depending on setup.

Can I borrow an account to test this conquest thing out?

Looking at the info it should be fairly easy.

You could code a few strategies into the bot and just run them. Find out what best one and stick with it

I guess it's possible but you really need a good human mind behind it to win imo.. Or a hyper intelligent AI that responds to the opponent's every move…

I think you need a good human mind to make the second one still :o

It might be possible to force a winning strategy every time and come out on top in the long run.

Edit: Definitely would need to switch between a few wining strategies to stop players catching on and owning you.

If you don't want to lose any money when/if you lose games, here's a clever way to stake safely :)

First I stake 1m. If I lose, I'll stake 2m in the next match, if I win, I'll "win back" the first match. If I lose the 2m, I'll stake 4m, and win back the 3m I've lost in the 2 first matches, then 8m, 16m, 32m, 64m, 128m and so on, until I win. And when I win, I'll win back the money I've already staked + the 1m I started with.
So if you have a couple of billions, it'll be very hard to ever lose any money, as you're bound to win sooner or later.

I often use this method when playing poker.. As long as you got enough money to stake 5-6 times, you're pretty safe.

strategy works ;)

right now we need a few people dedicated to creating an AI for this though…

It's still very possible to lose 10+ or even 20+ stakes in a row. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32B+

Especially in conquest because it's a strategy game, not a luck based game.

+ If you had 32B you wouldn't really want to waste your time with 1m stakes :)

Then start with 1k instead of 1m ;)

But if you play for points, then wagers don't really matter :)

Do many legit players partake in this? We don't want to be stealing money from each other!

I know that many people play conquest but I don't know if many people are staking there.

People play it because you can get fast pest control points which can be exchanged for combat experience or void knight armour.

we could always create a "network" ;)
if we uploaded everything to some database we could store every single runescape player we ever staked. then if we see that 99% of the time Jimmy12332 lost to us and he is there we stake him more ;)

also if we could put in names not to stake we could be sure that my script doesn't stake TomTuff or Floor66 or Any anns anttii and then we'd never lose money.
