So, I screwed up some settings in my BIOS, so I reset my CMOS.
I did this by taking out the battery and putting it in again.

Everything's fine now, but programs that could before read my CPU temps can no longer do so.

Is there some setting I need to change in BIOS to allow programs to read the temps? Did I goof?!

Try reinstalling the programs.
I think the addresses of the values changed, but this is only a wild guess nothing more.

have you reinstalled the programs? whenever stuff changes for my comp I gotta reinstall them (cpuid hardware monitor is what I use)

Flashed BIOS, worked.
But DURF good suggestions guys that would also be a smart thing to do!
