Are those names rare ? or a little epic :D ? I just goth them recently.

I believe they're pretty rare, yeah :)
How did you get them?

I tried to get 3 letter names not far ago @ account management, change your character name :p Ive seen people selling ridiculous 3 letter names such as wqc. My favorite is Ani.

Even four letter names are rare. I do however own quite a lot of those :)

Dont forget the good old multiple space names ;)

Yes they are rare, and sell for a good amount in the RS market.

If you want to find 3 letter names go to SwiftIRC or an IRC network with RuneScript and use this MSL code

alt + r - Brings up the script editor

alias n {
 //say !name $rand(a,z) $+ $rand(a,z) $+ $rand(a,z)
}

then in a PM window with RuneScript enter the following.

syntax: //timer <amount of times to say command> <time delay between command>            
//timer 100 8 /n

to halt the timer enter //timers off

8 seconds is the perfect time between commands as if you do it too often RuneScript will ignore you for ~5 minutes.

I've found 11 three letter names so far using the above method. You can also add another $+ $rand(a,z) for four, five, etc names.

If your original account name is 3 letters I believe it's rare, but if you just used the username changing system to get a three letter name it is not rare.

Even original three letter names aren't as rare anymore. The display name system messed it up and left some unused short names able to be used or something I think.

i own 4 letter name, but uhh i think its rare, couse its bee ncrated in late 2002 year, but uhhif you change your name it isnt that^^ original ownz :P

Considering there can only be one of a name, wouldn't that make any name rare?

But to answer your question, I have never seen a 3-letter name in-game so it is probably pretty rare to find one.

I was on RSC a few weeks ago with a friend. We saw a 4 letter name person on there.

Saw a three letter called "Yew" yesterday.

I found one yesterday first try :D number letter number, also saw "B3N" yesterday!

They're semi-rare, 2 letter is rare I would say.

Glad my account got unbanned few days ago. 2 letter name must be really rare now. And for anyone who asks how I got it …. I bought it just before the account was banned 6 or 7 years ago
