[Suggestion] Heap space

Heya.

Not sure how much heap space SMART allocates for Java, but can I suggest increasing it? Minimizing SMART in the middle of scripts can sometimes result in crashes (out of Heap Space).
That's all :)

Oh really? Hmm, its not difficult to do, but would require recompiling another JVM arg into it. I'll take a look this week sometime if I remember. How often is this a problem?

Well we simply shouldn't have to do this in the first place. Would reflection not cause this afterall?

Wouldn't this just be a matter of -Xmx [amount]?

If I recall correctly, then yes.

This was never necessary before. Why is it now?

Uhh I just experienced this… it happens because of typing through smart.. I minimized it and then restored the window and the mouse was no longer there.. I tried it with an OLD!! version that doesnt type through and it doesnt happen :S My guess is that it loses focus.

Don't know if it would solve the problem, but if Simba crashes for me, it is caused by this about 95% of the time.
It'll be easy to do though, and won't effect performance negatively (just change max heap).

This happens to me often - yes please :) (Or whatever else will fix it, /me is a java N00B)

Sure. But my guess is that you only get this because Reflection still leaks a bit? So instead, I suggest fixing that? :/

I agree with this honestly… Seems like increasing space is just a temporary fix for it, or atleast to make it last longer before it crashes. We simply need to find the leak itself and stop it there.

It's not because of reflection leaks, it sometimes happens when I'm not running a script at all. This minor change would be very easy to implement and has no down side :) I would appreciate it a lot.
