Could you not make it so when you click on SMART you can input with keyboard please as when i see people asking me questions i would like to answer lol. Even when i click Disable SMART the keyboard wont let me type anything in until i log my char out and even then takes ages to be able to type.
Would be nice like :)

After you disable smart, minimize it and bring it back up, you'll now be able to use your keyboard.

That is what i meant yeah as well as what flight answered.

I don't know what people see is so difficult here. I always type while scripts are running. Just disable smart, turn around 3 times saying "YEEEEEEEEHAWWWW", CLICK THE SMART SCREEN, try that ~2 times and it should work. Else just rinse and repeat till it does.

Then it depends on if you have a crap script that will bug out or a proper one that will just wait.

You can type while the script is running?. Or only when smart is "disabled"?

When it's disabled, but still, the script goes on when I re-enable it.

Actually everyone above is wrong about typing "through" smart. Its possible without disabling it…. I've been trying to create a script that does this.. well ever since i signed up.. And the answer was simply "It cant be done yet" But I remember train telling me u can already.. I tried and found out how to without making a procedure for it in my scripts..

Its not perfect but DO this:

Run the script… try typing, backspace all of it, type and backspace.. (Note: Nothing is showing up).. Keep doing this for about 10 seconds.. stop and just wait a while.. in the next minute or two, try typing and it will show up immediately without disabling smart.. Sometimes u gotta type-backspace more.. and the more u do it, the faster the text shows up really..

Sometimes U have to click the chat box while typing and constantly click it while typing IF the smart mouse is moving.. Because when the smart mouse moves, it sets focus on the mouse rather than giving focus to the keyboard on a keypress or at least share it kinda like rsbot… I know nothing much about smart but I believe its the same reason you get the "you have no messages to reply to" error when u press disable. Smart uses the alt tab within itself to keep focus??

But yeah try the above and I guarantee you will be able to type through smart.. It just sucks that the first time you have to wait 1-3 minutes.. after that u can type.. the clicking trick sucks aswell if the smart mouse is being used. I usually do this at the beginning/start of my scripts that way when someone talks, i can reply without having to wait n stuff..

The message you get is because ALT+TAB is simulated.
I could imagine a perfectly easy solution for this though. Just make a simple webserver which you can post a message to and let Simba check for this every so often.

I simply click on RuneScape and start typing.. Works every time (SMART Enabled)

No1 was wrong, just you with your long ways lol. only thing you was right about is that you can write in SMART without disabling. In fact Flight was the main person that helped me tbh thanks once again Flight. You just minimize SMART then click SMART tab on windows bar, click on SMART then type :) works every time. Thanks to all for replying witch made me realize you don't need to disable :)

I beleive Zyt3x helped u most.. And what I meant by wrong is that they didnt know u can type through smart or none suggested it.

Wont argue though.. back to botting. Later.

P.S. The minimizing does NOT work 100% of the time because of the way smart keeps focus.. thats y I gave that method.

i would just like to say SMARTchat . although i dont update it that that regular any more . as far as i know it still does its job and in future you will not have to click a button it wil listen to all keypresses automaticly wher it detects SMART is in focus.

I had a couple errors a while ago with it. IDK if any were resolved …

hmm .. im sorry but i dont think i saw your post , what were these errors . i would love to know and i will see if i can sort them out

I think they might have been with the button. I'll retry it, but it took out my whole keyboard. I had to restart.

Ill try again during the weekend. Maybe an input button can be developed like rsbuddy or other clients have.
