Self defense gets you in trouble as well. I know that in my school district (in most if not all school districts it's the same), if you fight back in any way you can get in just as much trouble as the offender, regardless of who started it.

i friggin hate kids like that… the little one that is. had tons of them all through middle school, although im not fat, just a nerd haha. i came very close to giving one kid a swirly once, but i never could really do anything cause the minute you fight back, the school administration goes crazy and you're the one that gets in trouble. all this anti-bully stuff is a load of crap. kids should be able to stick up for themselves and let other kids know that they aren't gonna take crap from anyone

It says Richard on a lot of news pages, and Ritchard on others, so it's kind of hard to know which is right.. I think it's Ritchard though

It's a stereotype. But so is that the "rat" is an selfish jerk and the victim is… well a helpless victim. You are all so pro casey.

The fact is, they're both kids. Both still under heavy influences of there environments. I honestly believe a kid isn't born evil. If I see bullies at that age, they mostly turn into very different people later on. There isn't enough information to day that the "rat" didn't had problems either. Just look at him, he doesn't look like a normal kid at all.

Fat kids, product of modern societies. In most cases bad diets are the problem. That kid is way to heavy for a kid of his age. Probably fault of his parents, which have an IQ of a cow. "Eating is all that matters." And in a fight, everyone always chose the fat kid. Like he is so helpless, even if he wins.

And that interview stuff. Have you ever heard what two kids say after they had a fight? Kid1: He started, he always picks me. Kid2: He started, he always picks me. you know why? Cause probably they both have a very different experience about what happened.

Most of the kids hang out with the bully, most of the world chooses the side of the "victim". How odd…

You don't have to agree.

Saying that people who are overweight are just 100% bad is stupid.

First of all, different cultures are different, hurr durr. For example, in Mexico, it's a sign of wealth if you have more weight than others, which makes sense. More money == more food == more weight.

But besides that, there are people who sometimes can't control their weight because of mental issues. That definitely doesn't mean they're bad or that their parents are morons. And people who go to the other end of the spectrum and turn anorexic or bulimic are much worse off than people who are too heavy, in most cases.

And you should be blaming corporations and parents, not the kid. It's not his fault this world is fucked up.

I do not blame the kid. As I don't really think its true what my first comment says, it was more intended as a opposite of what most people say about this incident. I personally blame the environment. Including parents, corporations and many other things like group pressure etc.
