Well we don't have to deal with the tediums of SCAR anymore, not to discredit its impact.

SCAR is still used and is supported fully by SRL 4.
As a matter of opinion, SCAR is more stable in it's current state than Simba.
Using Simba over SCAR is simply a choice on personal preference or functionality.
– for OP:
Simba has appeared, and it is an alternative choice to SCAR, depending on what you prefer.
SRL, however, is still maintained to work with both SCAR and Simba.
SRL-5 is underdevelopment and is basically SRL-4 with documentation, SRL-6 will be the official re-write.

Haha I returned too :P

I hope for good. Though when get a job and start taking college classes again, might not be as active.

Now that I'm actually able to sit down (somewhat) and read SRL scripting tutorials, it's a whole new world. :P (I have ADHD or something) Now I just have to get myself to sit down and write a script. >_>

Anyways, a friendly welcome back to all that have returned as I have! :D

I thought it was awesome to see how much this community had advanced since I went inactive. *Applause*

What Timer missed here (aside from the usual bias) is that SCAR support is dropped with SRL 5. (and onwards)

I fully understand, and have known, that support will be dropped for SCAR in SRL 5.
However, an old user might feel more/most comfortable using SCAR instead of being pushed onto Simba with his return to cheating.

Might be a bit offtopic here, but i'm back too since free trade is back ;) But i used to be a junior member, what are the reasons for degrading accounts back to registered user?
Just wondering because junior member has no pro's anymore, at least not that i know of:P

I believe Juniors are hand-picked now, and not auto-instated.

Actually it's just that 100 posts are required, and a certain time registered, but I'm not sure how long. But yes, some are handpicked.
