Looking for a spot in ftp with food and high level monsters

Recently I trained a few players at the ratz spot, from tut island until almost 40+ in ten sjills. Now the Goblins are too weak for me and I need to move to another spot in ftp where I can collect food, cook, and fight higher level monsters using the cooked food to stay alive. Preferably all within one loading screen.

Bears above Varrock I used sometimes, but the spot was kinda drawing attention. Barbarians could be too, with the fishing and some trees. Any other good spots?

I'd say barbarians would be the next spot.. Can't think of anything else (besides cows, but they're low level too)

Yea I looked over the whole runescape map.. for f2p it's very limited, he wanted food & monsters to kill that are very close and cows were the best I could think of.. besides his bears/unicorns up under varrock

I guess barbarian would be cool maybe bring a fishing pole & fish / cook / kill lol

Spiders at Karamja?
Long way to get food + high level required

Most of them are combat 45+, wearing addy. They can sling, mage and combat. I have a number of pures too, and it is because of them I need to move to another spot. They are getting stuck around level 60.

Couldn't you fight the skeletons/lesser demons in Karamja volcano and go fish tuna/lobs and cut the local trees for wood

edit: nevermind, it's not all in one loading screen :/

Something in the 'Player Security Caves' in Barbarian Village?

Bebe

You mean Stronghold of Security?

Popular training spots in there but a lack of food readily accessible

Varock cave that requires dusty key, or something like that key… there's hill giants that are lev 20's that drop big bones, so there's money involved too.

Those are always crazy crowded though aren't they?

Why does it have to be in one loading screen?

Why do you prefer the spot be within one loading screen, Fakawi? Detecting if the "Loading…" box is showing shouldn't be hard (plus whole chunks of the minimap become black).

Edit: Nvm, I think I know why. But how about the monastery? You can kill the monks (decent rate of XP), then ask them to heal you when HP is low. There's also an altar upstairs (if your prayer level is 31 or above) to recharge prayer.

I'm not sure how high-level you're thinking of exactly, but Giant spiders and Ankous in the stronghold security could work pretty well.

You could fight Al Khalrid guards and heal yourself on the kebabs from the shop close by.

He means monsters that drop food, so he never needs to run back to the bank (I think). Ankous nor giant spiders drop any food of interest.

I train pures with defence 1, so they are in constant need of food. Now at the rats spot there is plenty of food, shrimp, anchovy and rat meat. I fish, pickup, cook and eat.

this is a nice scheme. Never do I need to go back to a bank and I meanwhile level cooking, firemaking and woodcutting (albeit marginal).

Hobgoblins maybe and use cow meat?

Are you talking about that peninsula behind the crafting guild? All of the hobgoblins there are the level 28s, so it might be a good spot for a pure :)

Bebe

Hobgoblins aren't that great for pures because they can hit rather hard and often. I guess it depends on the levels of the accounts though.

It is difficult. Bears seem for now to be the "best" spot, but they are in the path of runecrafters.

Most of the runecrafters are probably bots anyway unless they are playing on the designated runecrafting servers. I wouldn't worry about those guys stopping to report you unless you have experienced otherwise.

Is there anything worth fighting in that ice warrior/giant dungeon south of Port Sarim?

I tried scorpions with banana's, but with my def-1 pure, this means two banana's for every scorpion, so only 2.5K XP per load. Not worth the script.

Flight: Ice warriors might be a good idea. I will try and see the damage they do. It is not far from where I live in rs :) And… I can fish over there. Not bad!

In that same dungeon, if I remember correctly, there's muggers/pirates, hobgoblins, and ice warriors/giants. You might consider the hobgoblins. And yes that's a good idea about the nearby fishing spots, not to mention trees for cutting and cooking, nice idea.

unless you REALLY want to SLOWLY train wc, fm, cooking by making your food, just kill monks. when your low health talk to a monk(one your not killing) and tell them your low health, they heal you.
simple as hell. they have 150 life points. I'm guess your max hit is below that on your puers so its a decently good place. there are 5 or so in the monastery west of Edgeville. I could whip up a script in 5 minutes but you don't like REF so i'll pass ;)

Ice warriors for pures is no good. tried before…
there lp = 590
they are aggressive and there defense is good(unless using a fire spell or crush)
they hit often on 1 defense, i mean OFTEN. and with a max hit of 61 you will go through food fast.

Pirates are in that same dungeon.
they're lp = 230
they're max hit is 50 which is barely lower, but their accuracy is CRAPPY
they're defense is crap
they can be killed faster and there is 10+ in a VERY small area, thus your likelihood of receiving damage is pretty low.
Pirates combat lvl is 26 and they're aggressive, meaning any lvl combat lvl 53+ is suggested.
there are 2(ish) hobgoblins(level 28) that wander close by so if your pures combat is >=57 your safe from any
aggressiveness.

What about Dwarfs in the Dwarven mine, you could sell/buy back food at the general store. Though this may not be very cost effective. :\ Just an idea!
