Back before pinlines were patched, you could get a pin 3-4m each. Now that actual cards are the only (known) way to do it, they go more for 7-8m each.

I got lucky and found a guy on RSBot with a 3 month card he didn't need, sold it to me for 16m :biggrin:

pfft didn't know the pins changed. Even still… 10-15m should be pocket change if you bot proper.

I agree VEM is total shit for iron. Try rimmington, I just switched to copper/tin/smelting bronze. Bad money but it's fun to level up and do new things.

It's not like that will even make a small dent in the amount of bettors there are in the world. No matter how many we report/get banned they are going to make more…

That script was more of an anti-ban kind of script to run for a few hours to make you seem legit.

Botters are like Hydras, for every one of their bots that gets banned they'll make two new ones. It's not something that can be stopped on our level.

Well then which fucken script are you using :P Because I've tried doom's VEM and MSI's VEM, the latter of which I stuck to using. I could also make my own script but that costs a little too much time that I don't have atm.

I'm starting from 0 here, got hacked for all I was worth so I though, why not make few guys to bot on. When I do make enough cash I'll probably end up buying pins for RSGP, yeah :)

Just edited a generic miner so that it doesn't run to all four rocks. Only get it to mine two rocks, so you can stand in one spot :) All the other bots run around like crazy, while I sit there and fill up in a few mins. Kinda funny to watch.

You use reflection for the mining?

Yup, color is too slow when its competitive like that.

True that :| It's just nowhere near as fast for detecting rocks as ref is.

Good way is this: If your script reckonizes that no Ores gainer, make it to miner Second closest Rock ( All those bots always mine most closest one ;) )

I agree with Home, it doesn't take a whole lot of IQ to out-smart the other bots. Doing something like what he suggested will always keep you one step ahead of the competition.

There are a few areas in f2p that require additional stats/quests to enter, such as the mining guild, crafting guild, Melzar's Maze, Cooking Guild, etc. I've focused my scripts on these areas for a while now, because (except for Mining guild) they are USUALLY much less crowded. Even a few of these areas are getting inundated now, which is very troubling.

What's in Melzar's Maze?
And cooking guild? It doesn't matter how many people are cooking on a range you food will still get cooked all the same :p?

I've never made a script for Melzar's maze, but there are 5-6 lvl 3 Zombie Rats on the first floor that could be killed on a low level or pure account. There are also a variety of ghosts that skeletons that could be used for a Crumble Undead type script. I was mainly listing it as an example of an f2p area that MOST bot characters wouldn't have access to. Crandor is another example.

For cooking guild, there are respawns that could be used to make a script. If anyone else has suggestions on how to use these "restricted areas" in f2p, definitely let me know.

I think the muggers and hobgoblins in that mine. For higher level accounts there's ice warriors/giants.

Anybody can go into blurite mine, but I don't remember it being crowded at all.

I also noticed that foreign language servers are totally empty at most botting spots, so maybe it would be worthwhile for people to develop SRL/SMART to use those as well…

I guess that would mean that we'd have to re-set uptext strings. I could do it in German, I suppose.

Yeah, but this is a good idea, it'd give us the advantage over other bots.

Time to make our include language independent? We should code that in the way the Mac used to work, with Code and Resource, where the Resource contains nothing but the language dependencies: 'Choose Option' = 'Auswahl'. In SRL we replace the ChooseOption string by an indexed string.

YES! SRL working on foreign language worlds (if they are very less crowded) would be splendid!

This is great! i just went to vem in portuguese and it had nobody there. nobody in essence either. i saw 2 people in one hour, and they were both legit high levels and talking and messing around with each other. i know where im playing legit now

I remember how hill giants used to be way crowded on the default worlds, so I would always go to the Brazilian servers to kill them. If you guys are planning on making SRL multi-language, I want to help :D

I heard that the mining guild is less populated now from a guy who usually mines there … don't know if its true.

Changed it! And same, if you need help getting names of things, i'll do it. I would really like to see this implemented, it's a great idea!

Now that the word is out i bet the other bots will start to bot on foreign world servers too, its only going to be a matter of time.

Nah man they existed way longer so if RSBot/other major bot(s) haven't caught on to them now it's just not gonna happen.

Well their post was made the 5th of March, and just today I started working on language conversion. Or are you talking about them stealing the idea from a long time ago and just now using it?
