Can't do drugs for 3 years, I've been smoking marijuana regularly for past 5 years, and pretty much every single day for past one year… god help me.

Well, rules are rules. I assume that since you're on probation now, it wasn't medicinal? I don't care what your stance on "Oh, it should be legalized because blah" is, if you get caught breaking a law you deserve the punishment that follows.

Who's to say that the punishment fits the crime? I assume he wasn't endangering the lives of anyone, and if this is true then there is no reason for the government to fuck with his life and personal decisions regarding what enters his body.

An unjust law is no law at all…

hahaha oh well, not that far off :)

My offense wasn't at all drug related it's something else but that's besides the point… how are those synthetic cannaboids though, I've tried spice a few times but I heard it causes some gnarly side effects and cancer or something to that extreme.

(funny part is I was supper hammered when it all happened.)

If it wasn't a drug offense I don't think you get tested. You don't in NY unless it's a drug offense anyways.

There not legal anymore btw. And they're pretty bad. I'd never touch the stuff. Definitely don't do bath salts. There was a family on Dr Oz (lol it was just on and was talking about this stuff) and their kid did it and he cut his neck open in front of his dad and then shot himself in the head the next day. :/

You can't smoke if you're on probation? afaik you can't do anything illegal..

Also, ferocity, I wouldn't smoke spice. It's illegal, for one, so id they found out you'd be fucked, and it's not that good for you at all. Super easy to OD on, and ODing can be deadly.

I was on probation for years. I was making a joke. I smoke daily (lighting up some loud as we speak) and did the same when I was on probation. As long as they are piss tests (the cheapest and most common) they are super easy to pass.

If that's not what you're saying, please explain further. What is considered 'just' is subjective, and the lawmakers are the ones in the positions to decide what is right or wrong.

Am I saying I do or don't agree with the system? No comment, because my personal feelings on the matter are irrelevant. It is what it is, learn to live with it.

Bummer dude. GL. - I have a friend that stopped for 4 months as he was job searching. But after a few months and the release of the Skyrim trailer, he got over it pretty well.

atleast it's not a Dewy, life without weed isn't that bad at all, and technically you just can't get caught..

I'm 21 in a month, and doing drugs is just out of the question now I get swab tested every week or two, it's random; getting caught would put me in jail for a year so really not worth the risk.

Gah I just can't see myself scripting anymore without being stoned… I'll see how that goes hahaha, have a script that I need to finish up (which I definitely will as it's very close to release.)

Protip: Swish Hydrogen-peroxide around in your mouth for 2/3 mins before a mouth swab test and pass.

Worked for me once, and my cousin a couple times I guess.

Also, THC can only be found in your mouth for 3 days or something like that?

Take up a hobby.

Surely this is what I would encourage ;) I was simply letting him know.

Surely all the time you'll spend sober will improve your cognitive abilities. You make the silliest mistakes while scripting and I can't help but think you'd become 400% more efficient with your time if you were clear headed for like a week.

In high doses it does cause cancer, because it releases an oxygen radical
H2O2 -> H20 + O-

all oxygen radicals are carsinogenic.

And maybe you can't see yourself scripting without drugs, but I bet you can imagine yourself doing something actually productive sober.

many toothpastes have hydrogen peroxide in them….and if you read the bottle is suggests using it as a mouth rinse (tastes terrible imo though).

Just don't swallow a lot of it and you should be fine :)

Urine, yes, though that depends a lot on weight/metabolism. Saliva is only a few days.

As a side note, this is just from brief internet searching. I can't guarantee anything is fact so if I'm wrong about something I apologize. :redface:

When I was little I drank some thinking it was cold medicine, poison control said I'd be just fine and there's nothing wrong with ingesting small amounts of it :)

AFAIK industrial grade Hydrogen Peroxide can really hurt you. If I remember correctly just this past year one of my uncles spent a few days in Intensive Care after ingesting some he had in a cup in his kitchen and accidentally drank.

I don't think Enzymes would do anything to H2O2, in fact the hydrogen could probably denature them.

Regarding the synthetic cannabinoids, many people claim that it is horrible for you… but in my experience they didn't negatively affect me in the least whilst on probation.

The ones that are "illegal" are only a few varieties on the JWH molecule plus a few others, but there are tons of smoke shops still selling synthetics because the government has had an epic fail trying to ban them all.

As with any kind of drug, one must use common sense and respect the effects that it produces. The synthetic high can push to the level of psychedelic drugs if a high enough dose is taken. Also, as far as I know there has not been a human overdose with these cannabinoids: just like weed. The kid that killed himself in front of his dad didn't do it because he was high on drugs. Thats bullshit. If you are able to handle yourself on weed, then I'm sure you will be fine with this stuff.

However, there are some drawbacks to this. One, the high doesn't last as long as weed, and I think tolerance builds faster imo. Two, there haven't been enough studies showing long term effects of chronic use. I have a hard time believing all the hype about it causing cancer or anything like that due to its sheer similarity to the cannabinoids found in cannabis. On the contrary, they actually inhibit tumor growth…

The thing is, it is probably not great for you to smoke, but in the long scheme of things it is not going to kill you. I went sober the first 5 or 6 months of my probo after a straight year of smoking weed, and it was beneficial for a while, but in the end I just needed something to take the edge of from time to time. College plus probation equals too much stress, and there was only so much my exercise regiment could do to help…

Do some research on this for yourself, and if you come to the same conclusions that I did… burn one, relax, and enjoy having clean urine. ;)
