Can someone explain to me the difference between an Object's .Tile and .RealTile values?

Don't quote me on this one, but I believe that for objects that exist on multiple tiles, .Tile is the most south western tile, while the real tile is the "center" tile.

i dont get it, so its like tile 39.5 instead of tile 39?

and would tile to ms work more accurately with real tile?

That's a willow tree by the way, camera face north.

Look at a tree or fountain in the rsbot client with objects enabled. The tile the lines are drawn from is the "real tile". Tile is the most south western tile.

As far as I know…

Can anyone confirm that's truly the difference between the two?

I think TomTuff is right. It's not the "center" tile, but the "primary" tile. Run RSBot and you'll find that all objects that take up more than 1 tile have all tiles linked back to one tile, as TomTuff illustrated above.

Sometimes it returns the same tile.

Not really much use

Its useful for the actual development side, so we can combine the one tree, from 4 objects into 1.
