If you ever play legit on your main and/or pure and you also bot on it, it's
always funny to see yourself get muted for something minor
like offensive language, auto-typers, item scamming etc…

I was muted temporarily on RS a few years back for saying that "getting layed is good exercise". It wasn't very fun, I had to talk to my friends with emotes.

I find it funny how I'm still able to talk with these offences:

Funny how I appealed against a language mute and then I look at evidence and all they have is me advertising a pvp cc and guess what I get denied.

So if all of your infractions are minor, what would constitute "Offensive/Inappropriate Language Major" in Jagex's eyes?

I meant it more as getting muted for a minor thing instead
of being permanently banned for botting past few months lol.

I once got muted for telling some dude in black d-hide chaps I'd kick his black butt.
His character was white btw.

I got perma banned for saying my outfit was 'cxc' and asking if someone had aids lol. Ofc the account was already near max offenses after a macro offense. This was also many years ago, I was a little immature :P

I created an account soley to get muted, it never happened no matter what I did lol.

Err, I got Major Language Muted, I said f**k you and smd, in full form to a irl friend, who was a irritating chap at that time

Reminds me of the time I solely got muted on one of my suicide miners. It was 2 days, then I botted rune essence in the Varrock Essence mines thinking I wouldn't get caught. Then that account got permabanned. True story.

Oh yeah, this was on the year that RSBuddy was still around, but I used EpicBot. If only they worked around their script to open closed doors as an additional feature.

Ur telling me! I was a potty mouth when DChain was like 12m and everything was bought and sold in fally park.. Got perm muted until the new RS CEO change which somehow unmuted me.. Ppl never knew about mutes that much so I'd follow someone with the armour I wanted and kept waving and shaking my head with emotes whle they ask me questions like what do I want.. OMG Ppl would go nuts and start cursing me out calling me noob n stuff lolol Then the idea came to me.. MSN was the answer.. added someone who understood I was muted then they'd tell ppl what I wanted to say ahaha

I advertised a site then in my appeal i just said i got hacked and they let me off lol.

There was a time when I got muted for bad language and then the next day I couldn't talk and got reported for "booting" cause I wasn't able to talk. This was before quick chat came in action and all those reports resulted in a permanent ban. Gf my 1st account.

hmm, never gotten a ban, mute, mark, or infraction, and I have been botting on my main for years…

I now have more fun botting then playing the game in person.

My mate got muted once - could only use quickchat. I had no idea so if I ever asked him anything all he used to say was:

Don't ask difficult questions.

I found it hilarious :)
