Goodbye fellow SRL'ers!

Reasons are obvious for anyone that knows me..
I was banned for something I did not do, and nobody even tries to listen therefor I'll move on to another community!

When my cousin got hacked and the hacker stole our rs money using his ip address I realized that you're probably not guilty.

The discussion leading up to me being banned and kicked down to junior member? Would be a blast reading that.. As all I see is you having the IP, nothing else to go on.. and you took that over the fact that I was willing to pay what was taken +100m. I really would like to see your ideas behind this..

Obviously most people did believe that you did it. I'd say about >90% in SSRL and Staff. Even though I generally like you, you're pathetic for saying ``no one ever listens'', perhaps I should indeed stop listening.

The rest was up to the staff (as made clear to me by Wizzup) and other devs/SSRL'ers to provide other evidence and insight. So if you would like to see those threads then contact an admin.

I wasn't what got you banned, you displayed the capability to do so yourself(see: digging yourself a deeper hole).

Firstly I was quite and talked to a moderator to avoid even more problems, but when that didn't work I was desperate to reach out to someone..

I'd have paid if it was within my capacity to because the account was under my responsibility. Obviously nothing is black and white and there are exceptions to that rule.

There is IP evidence beyond a doubt.

I have used someone elses ip adress and computer name just so i can log into there ebay account.

The point is that if he reported anything that was purchased it will show all under his ip, his computer name, and the time and date he was logged in.

There is not enough evidence and the decision has been made to fast.

I'd say take it up to the higher court, if someone is willing to pay a fine just to get trust back, doesn't that show something?

Choose this decision wiseley as once again, another great SRL Dev/Member is being flamed away.

Here is a perfect example what could have happened to Naike.

All these accounts are already stolen, just not by me.

But if your smart hacker who constantly has a lists o IP's on standby and BATCH files to easily change your computer name, and all the common browsers used and downloaded to your computer, you will make sure that nothing is traced back to yourself, but to another victim. Hence, Naike.

it's not like it is even relatively hard to hide traces on the internet.
As this is not a "hacking forum" im not going to discuss my incognito tendencies; however, i assure you that anyone with an internet connection and access to google could spend about 5 hours and come up with a shaky way of doing this. and if the person in question was a pro, he would be able to do this with extreme ease.

Not saying I'm on the bandwagon on either side, but the simple explanation is that he didn't plan on getting caught…if he did I'm sure he wouldn't have done it since it would have came as a loss, but he banked on not being caught, which would be profit. Since he got caught he offered to pay it back and extra, which absolves him from nothing.

edit: I actually find it crazy how you guy think offering to pay extra helps his innocents plea. If someone were rich it'd be okay for them to go around robbing banks because they could pack back extra? Does this mean I can start stealing accounts/geepees and just offer to pay back extra when I am caught? That is some very flawed logic in my opinion.

If I was accused of scamming, and I did not do it, why would I payback the money? Moparisthebest also posted proof on the previous thread that links Naike with the same Ip's.

Like Brian said, naike was not planning on getting caught and thought he could get away with it.

Say what you want, the admins voted, and they voted rather unfairly if you ask me.
Heads up though, this could happen to anyone, at anytime.

I still like to see all the evidence against me, as I haven't seen any since the start of this problem?

I do know that the IP matched the login on the accounts.
But in this case that should be overlooked as I didn't run, I stayed and discussed, was open to all the admins, and talked about paying back the money after it was settled(as this was still my fault).
Why would I go through that trouble, to just hand out GP's?

I also think that all the evidence should be compiled in a thread in the "Banned users" section maybe? For future reference and justification. Although he is not banned, he has been severely demoted.

I agree with Brian's logic…plus quit whining on the public forums, pm the admins, they are the only people that can help you, all you are going to get is opinions in "SRL Public Forum > News".

I recognize you have made many positive contributions to the SRL community, from what I have read, it was not an easy choice to demote you. The fact that you are still here, shows the respect that is still had for you. Trust is a hard thing to gain and very easy to loose.

Nobody made a hasty decision, this was deliberated for weeks.

This isn't about the money, and never was about the money. I don't want money. The evidence was too compelling to ignore, and given the level of trust that is granted to Admins/Mods within SRL, action was necessary.

I see no reason for Naike to leave SRL. If we wanted him gone, we would have perma-banned him in the first place. But if that's what he wants, I guess nobody is going to change his mind.
