Just a short guide of how I personally do barrows. There can be lots of substitutes here but this is my own personal set up.
In one hour of barrows (which is usually what I do at a time) I'll come up with nothing short of 200k (including cost of runes/food used during this time). That alone isn't bad at all for a money maker, not to mention the Magic exp you'll be gaining. But the potential could be well over 20m per hour, depending on how blessed you are. ;)
Here's a picture of my personal set up, this also includes what your house MUST have:
~

Head to Canifis bank, grab your gear/inventory items, and follow the route I provided, fighting the barrows brothers in the order I use. (This is critical)
~

Now run to Dharok's grave, rest to 100% run energy, turn your autocast spell on if you haven't already, turn on your protect from melee prayer, and dig to enter his tomb.
~

You'll want to only protect from Karil because he kicks ass no matter how much armor you have on. If you happen to get Karil in the dungeon, then you might have to use a dose of your prayer potion, but that's why we brought it anyways! Anyone else in the dungeon is a slice of pie.
Before opening the chest in the center to claim your price, be sure your "Creatures killed" count is atleast 7, this is so you'll have the chance of getting Bolt Racks added into your rewards. The beauty of using ancient magics here is because you always get runes back from the chest, in most cases you'll come walk away with about 10 casts less than what you started out with, sometimes you'll even come out with more runes then what you went in with!
The most time consuming part of doing a barrows run is the dungeon. It's best if you know all the 'puzzle door' answers before you go down to the dungeon. At this point I know them by heart so if I see the answer (without even looking at the question) I'll choose it and unlock the door. Now just kill the last brother if you haven't already, get your kill count to 7+, claim your price, and teleport to your house, recharge your Prayer, and use your portal back to Canifis. Head to the bank and start all over. :)
I hope it helped. :spongebob:

- Ice barrage > Ice blitz > Ice burst (Difference is cost/damage/time the target is frozen)
- Shark > Monkfish > Lobster (All very cheap)
- Staff of light > Special staff(with damage bonus) > Elemental staff (The damage bonus is nice, and SOL saves runes yay!)
- Arcane necklaces(For damage bonus) > Stole > Fury/Glory (Prayer bonus is important)
- Barrows gloves > Infinity gloves > Regen bracelet
- Teleport ring > Ring of life (Ring of wealth will be #1 with soon-to-come updates)
