Hey guys I want to warn you about an email from "Jagex" telling you to visit some site.
I'm just making this post to warn you guys, it seems that a lot of people who are signed up on "Powerbot" are receiving these emails (but I am not).
Just be careful, and never open any emails form jagex because they will never contact you outside of Runescape.


It's most likely some kid who bought a bunch of emails off of botting sites. Be smart. Be safe.

I use a private email for wow / rs / other games and haven't gotten one fake email ever but my other emails which aren't my game ones do a lot..

Thunderbird - Mozilla has been good so far, it says where the email is being sent to and so far the spoofer things don't work at all to trick it

I had something similar happen to me but I didn't fall for it I made a script that entered fake usernames and passwords to piss whoever the phiser is off.
