Working pretty well isn't it? I've got a whole (0) bots banned so far. How about you guys?

There's a ton of threads created like this, why make yet another?

they need (some of) us, but they don't need the amount that is out there in force now, all items are dropping to terribly low prices. back in the day (2007) lobsters were at 250ea that was when botters were just over the line… but mmm its a bit too far now if you ask me!

I still reckon there's a mass ban coming. Fingers crossed.

I don't think so, because the best time would've been in like the first week of free trade, and i don't think jagex is too keen to do anything.

Actually one of my brothers new accounts recently got B& and none of my army accounts have been banned, so I feel confident when I say there is no mass ban coming anytime soon, because they would have saved his ban for the mass ban.

And well they didn't so it seems that there is no mass ban

they announced a mass ban was coming like a couple months ago, but idk if they were just bsing. honestly, if they were smart, i think they would wait for all the new (and old) players who were reintroduced to the game after the wildy update, make it look like they arent doing anything about botting so that people arent afraid to buy membership because no risk to getting banned, then strike when they have enough cash. sounds like something jagex would do.

Yeah, it makes it kind of hard to make cash botting.


I'm hoping that they'll at least try to stomp out all the gold farmer bots. You know, that endless stream of level 3 bots mining essence, among other things.


They might make some things a little better/easier for us serious botters and real players, but mostly they're annoying and hamper the training of characters and acquisition of gold.



Edit: Also, I only saw one other thread like this on the front page, and it isn't exactly on the same topic. Sorry if I missed some huge wave of these kind of threads in a different sub-forum. I'm just interested to know if anyone is getting the ban hammer overly much lately.

For every account of mine they ban I'll be making 5 more

so my 300 accounts can turn into something nasty

So based on this, it would just be in your best interest to not directly trade to your main, unless it also counts for pking lower levels or something.

Would it be a good idea to actually trade something to a bot for the cash, even if it looks silly, like rune armor for 10m?

thats why ive gotten from 55-81 rc in a matter of a little under 3 weeks, i do it for about 8 hrs a day on the weekend. no ban. ggnr scape?
