Smart/Simba crashing

There's been alot of it lately, and this time I managed to get quick screenshot of the debug window after smart had crashed and closed out and right before this triggered Simba to do the same.


  • I was not using MSI
  • I did nothing with Simba while the script was running
  • Using Win7 64-bit (4GB duo processor)

I really think it could be either a conflict with Win7 64-bit or something Smart itself is doing. If you look at the other 'Simba crashing' post you'll see that most people, who have the same problem, are also running Windows 7 64bit.

I hope this information is helpful in giving a clue as to why this is happening.

Post the script please. I think there is something wrong with a reflection function since "Field not found" shouldn't be happening.

Looks like a reflection memory leak. When's someone actually to use my tool to debug MSI memory?

I'm not running MSI nor do I have the extensions even enabled. That's why I say either, like you said, reflection or Smart itself.

If you are on windows open command prompt by clicking windows key + r and typing in CMD then write C:\Simba\Simba.exe

It will open simba in the command prompt and if you get any errors it will print it in the command prompt so you can see exactly what happened

Whoops. I meant Reflection memory; not MSI.

Yeah that looks alot like what I had. Except I had that "Field not found: H" and a whole lot of other letters other than H. Are these the class files for the client Smart uses?
