Player Remote Problem

Since recent MSI updates my player remote was green, yet I didn't have the player remote option in the MSI drop down menu.

I disabled the extension and re-enabled it and I get:
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\MSI/MSI/Core/Locations.simba(45:20): Unknown identifier 'MSI_ConvertTilePath' at line 45

Sorry if this is an obvious fix.

Hmm, this has something to do with SPS?

Yes, I'll have to look into exactly what's wrong with it though.

I have SPS setup correctly as far as I know, I just re-installed it and everything.

I don't even have SPS installed right now and I don't get any errors, so I can't imagine that makes too much of a difference. Everything should be handled on MSI's end through Defines.

Then again, are you running it with Color as your walking method?

I don't even have MSI open when this happens!
Open a fresh Simba>View>Extensions>Enable Remote>
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\MSI/MSI/Core/Locations.simba(45:20): Unknown identifier 'MSI_ConvertTilePath' at line 45

with a blank script open.

If MSI isn't even being included I don't see how that could happen. Try it with the extension disabled?

Try what with which extension disabled? :duh:
Add me on MSIN I can't seem to add you.

Added you, and I meant try disabling the MSI Player Remote extension and try compiling.

I'm not really sure what would cause it to do that.

Yeah MSI compiles and runs just fine when the remote is disabled or 'enabled'.

The remote option doesn't show up on menu when enabled though.

I was getting the failed to compile message simply by just ticking the box to enable the extension, with a blank script open.

I fixed this yesterday. Make sure you move the new extension to your Simba extensions folder. ;)
