MSI VEM Deposited my Pickaxe

Using VEM mining/banking copper/tin.

I checked on my account, it was standing in the mine WITHOUT A PICKAXE and clicking on rocks.

I must add, that I MIGHT have not given they player a pickaxe when I started the script (pretty sure I did though, because according to the progress report:

{     Player 1: asdf}
{ Location: Varrock east mine }
{ Time: 07m 21s }
{ Active: True }
{ }
{ Script: Varrock East Miner }
{ Time: 07m 21s }
{ Skill: Mining }
{ Exp: 473 }
{ Level: 69 }
{ Loads: 1 }
{ Item: Tin ore }
{ Amount: 9 }
{ Item: Copper ore }
{ Amount: 18
Meaning the character mined/banked a load. So he probably did have a pickaxe in order to do that….

So MSI must have deposited my ores AND pickaxe and then went on trying to mine like normal.

A failsafe should be added for checking for pickaxe upon arrival at the mine.

No idea how it could have accidentally deposited the pickaxe, but someone should investigate, it is a rare problem though.

I've autoed over 48 hours and it has never happened before, so just adding a failsafe pickaxe check should be fine.

Thanks for reporting. :)

Could you possibly look through the Debug and find the latest place where it sets the Exceptions? I'm not sure if it continues to set them during runtime, but I know they're set in the beginning of the script.

Having that would really help :redface:

Here is the log, it's weird as hell. Just read though it.
AFAIK I only have a RUNE pickaxe in my bank.
It was checking for each type of pickaxe, said something about finding a dragon pickaxe (I'm not even a member!), said something about woodcutting (I was running a miner), and it seems to have loaded wrong paths too.

Here it is, have a look through it.

Edit: WOW! Never seen that before:
The text that you have entered is too long (154076 characters). Please shorten it to 100000 characters long.

It searches for all the pickaxes you can use, starting with the best one, that's why it was checking for a dragon pick.

It loaded the correct paths too, it just loops through points starting at the end of the path to prevent walking backwards etc.

Says it Withdrew a Bronze pick from your bank though…that's odd. Even if you didn't leave the Char with an Axe, it still should have recognized it as a rune pick and not bronze. The colors aren't even anything alike :confused:

I'll look into it though either way.

Thanks for posting :)

I'll check later and let you know if I had a bronze pickaxe or not, I might have, I'll check tomorrow.

After I stopped the script and walked to the bank I did have a rune pickaxe in there though, so no idea why it cared about the bronze…

Thanks for checking it out.

Have you tried setting the exceptions for each player?

Meaning what?
Filling out all form into for all players?
I've used MSI for many hours since and I've never had the problem again, just so you all know.

Just in the Exceptions box enter whatever InvSlot your pickaxe is in.

Glad it's working well now anyways. :)
