Yep, MSI has moved from SVN to git. To you, the end user, this won't matter at all. The MSI updater will still automatically update, so don't worry. If you're interested in development, you can now fork the MSI repository so you have your personal fork to commit to and others can test things you've done.
The repository can be found here. This also easily shows the change log in case any of you are interested. Please note: You do not have to download anything related to github/git for MSI to work. The extension works exactly the same as it did pre-git.
