Hey everyone,

Have been using SRL for about a week now so I decided to do a little introduction. I have no expirience in scripting whatsoever but am planning on changing that so I might follow some tuts anytime soon. I'll still do my best in not being a total leecher so if there's anything else I can do just ask.

A little off-topic,

Whenever I bot I run 4 instances of Simba and 4 accounts at the same time. Is this considered a safe method or will Jagex notice 4 accounts being active from the same IP all the time? And whenever you guys bot, how many accounts do you run at the same time?

Greetz, smatje

Veel plezier hier ;)

I once autoed with 12 accounts or so? The amount of accounts themselves won't ban you, but they might get chain-banned (if they catch one, they might ban all 12 in my example).

I see so would IP hiding software be of any use here? I dont want to lose all my accounts at once :p

You could use a SSH tunnel if you have access to remote PC's. Java supports proxies.

I don't. If I used a proxy wouldn't that mean all my RS clients would still connect with the same proxy adress meaning there is still be a chance of a chain-ban? correct me if i'm wrong

Yeah, so you'd need multiple machines. ;)

Isn't it possible to make it run each instance of java in different proxies?

Which means you'll need different proxy endpoints (machines)

But, can't you load more instances of java? I have had like 3 java icons on my system tray. So, assigning unique proxy to each of those, would solve the problem? If thats not possible, then you could just make virtual machines, that would solve the problem, would require more memory for sure.

… I'm saying you can run multiple java's. My reference to multiple machines meant that you'll need several machines since one machine can't easily serve as multiple proxies…

myproxylists.com, order private proxy list from there, and you have 15+ IP's, each unique and stable.

Yea I might try something out in VMware. But I don't really feel like having to use an unique Pc per client, so I might aswell take the extra chances of getting banned :p

I'm currently planning on making a gold farming army, I setup a proxy for each client, and if it requires virtual machine for each client, I will do it, I auto on 10 characters, so 10 virtual machines, if I can't sort out the proxies for each client, if I do I could make a detailed tutorial on it.

I'm pretty sure you can run 5 different characters for each instance of Simba open. You could also try toggling the SMART settings on each character (ie signed or unsigned, server, etc.) Other than that, welcome to the community.

That would be useful since I'm not sure how I'd proxy for runescape, besides VPN. also won't proxies just lag too much to play the game?

Public proxies yes, but with private proxies, the speed and stability is usually good.

I'm sure running two machines to bot wouldn't be a problem.

Welcome to the community.
There are a plenty good ammount of tutorials at this time in the scripting section.
If you need help, you can post a thread in the help section.
