Not using the form?

Is there any way not to use the form when I'm filling out MSI. Call me oldschool, but its just easier to have it all written in the script and ready to go when you have a large army and want to run 5 MSIs at once. Especially when there isn't support to save multiple sets of players with the form (yet).

I know there is a thread somewhere about remaking the form so that it supports armies, but for now all I want to do is declare players in the script. Is there something I have done wrong? I always get an out of range error.

E: The problem is that without using the form the script won't work. The out of range error happens everytime. See pics below.

I'm not that stupid :duh:. The problem is that the script won't work when you set form to false. Is it no longer supported?

I think I've figured out what's causing the problem maybe though. Is it the fact that MSI now allows you to choose a script for each individual character, whereas the in-script declare players only allows one script to be chosen for all players?

did you change the number of players? Posting what it says in the debug box is more helpful for us than the highlighted line in the code.

Edit:
Compiled succesfully in 2683 ms.
It compiles for me!

What was the problem? :) For future reference or whatever.

Glad you figured it out. :) Couple comments.

Nope, each player can have a different script, bit I'm sure you've figured that out.

As another note, it was suggested (and it's what I've been doing) is to have all your players saved in one Player.txt file: that is, load all of them in to the form. Then have a couple Simbas open. In the first one, only have half the players set to active. Then, set the last half to active in the second Simba.

You probably have it setup now, but just thought I'd let you know. ;)

The problem was my own blindness. I didn't see the
    with Scripts[0] do
begin
end;
portion of the declare players :duh:

Anyway, I did decide that I wanted to use forms (yes I'm as fickle as an old woman) so I set up my own way of alternating the player file before you posted your reply Coh3n.

What I did was I created a "player files" folder in the MSI directory. In it I put different sets of players (RM1.txt, RM2.txt, etc.). Then I just open the globals.simba and edit Path_Player before I load each time. I might have to try your way though. Sounds much easier.

Lol, that's EXACTLY what I did until IceFire suggested the method I mentioned above.
