Well shit. It's been almost four years that I've been around this scene. For the past two, I've pretty much stuck to lurking. For those of you who care, here's an update on my life.
I'm Rick. I attend Bowling Green State university in Bowling Green, Ohio, two hours away from my hometown of Columbus. I'm studying Visual Communication technologies with plans to become a web designer and developer. I'm good at what I do. Myself and a fellow student from the career center I attended during my high school years flew out to Kansas City, Missouri to compete in a national web design competition hosted by SkillsUSA. Many people call me a hipster, and I accept it. I enjoy my music and culture that I'm a part of. I'm also a brother of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, and it's been one of my best decisions in college. I enjoy watching premium cable programming, the occasional bowl of weed, going to concerts, the occasional college party, and discount clothes shopping. I work as a bagger at a local grocery store. I also work for the college radio station as Production Director.
In 6 years, I'd like to see myself back in Columbus, working for a design firm doing web design, while working for the local radio station back home.
