So today i noticed that 810 was out and being a noob that i am - i simply thought it would just be easier to unistall simba and reinstall - enable the extentions get msi and boom ready to roll :)
But little did i know i ran into a couple of problems.
When i downloaded Simba from http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47714
It installed fine but its missing Reflection, the Extension and the Includes Reflection folder - it doesn't exist.
So maybe i have to enable the extensions first and then it will download them - when i went there there was no extensions for reflection. So i only enabled associate - msi - srl.
What i did notice is that i had a Reflection drop down menu

I closed the extensions window, i went over to the MSI drop down menu and i hit "check for update"
in return : "You have a new update available for MSI! MSI Updater: Local Version - "1" | Remote Version = "518" MSI Updater: Update File - "http://wizzup.org/static/srl/msi.tar.bz2" MSI Updater: Downloading… MSI Updater: Decompressing… MSI Updater: Extracting… MSI Update Successful!"
I went over to do the same for Reflection and i get: "No Reflection update available."
I went over to do it for SRL and i get: "You have a new update available for SRL! SRL Updater: Local Version - "1" | Remote Version = "703" SRL Updater: Update File - "http://wizzup.org/static/srl/srl.tar.bz2" SRL Updater: Downloading… SRL Updater: Decompressing… SRL Updater: Extracting… SRL Update Successful! "
So im not sure whats going on there :spot:
so i decided to install a fresh copy and instead of opening Simba; my objective was to get reflection off of someone who had it running - for this case IPwnz helped me a lot - helped me step by step, total luck charm. Anyhow he gave me his reflection folder and the reflection.sex so, i placed those in the correct location and then i opened Simba - enabled the extensions (reflection was there) it asked me if i wanted to install updates, so i did. but i had to do SRL and MSI manually. i wanted to see if it was good and ready to go so i hit Msi -> run and i got an error: "Running MSI… Exception in Script: Plugin(irokiplugin32) has not been found"
Even though i checked my plugins and i have both of the plugins.
so then i tried MSI -> open -> then i hit play and it was able to compile and it gave me the setup window. i quickly set it up to see if it would bot and its running the MSI EV yews.
This is my experience reinstall Simba -Hopefully this helps in finding the bugs that Ive encountered while installing.
